Wasting, but waste can be said because he's doing nothing with his boxing talent at the elite level and i fear he wont in the near future
Are they paying you? You're doing more promotional work than Floyd does, you can con the casuals buddy but those in the know can see he's a protected cherry picker
I must admit, you seem awfully convinced by Tank. Your support of him is probably the most unequivocal I've seen on the forum. Do you know him personally or something?
I'm glad you acknowledge his bias and, by inference, agree his opinion is meaningless as regards the actual merit of his assertion.
Why not! His mentor did and other greats. It’s called daring to be great. You can’t knock him for that. I am sure he will fight some of the 4 Queens.
No I don’t know him personally but I recognized many years ago what Floyd had unearthed in Tank. My only question was whether he would fulfil his potential due to outside distractions. He seems to be winning that battle.
Very much so. For example: According to many on here, AJ is massively overrated and yet is comfortably the biggest draw in the HW division and as a result one of the biggest in the sport.
Tank's an interesting case... He's got good enough skills to interest purist fans, but bangs hard enough to make casuals feel they're watching something special. His resume isn't nearly elite yet, he's skipped over (or if we're charitable, not got around to fighting) enough of the best fighters at each weight that questions still remain as to whether he's elite or whether he's cherry picking for a reason. All the same, because he does well on the eye test and hits hard (and is American) the hype train rolls on - with some onlookers convinced of his greatness already and some waiting to see whether he's going to hit a ceiling sooner or later... Undeniably a good fighter and undeniably getting a lot of attention (and good PPV numbers as a result), but whether or not he's elite is still a bit of an open question.
Agreed. AJ is definitely a draw and could be considered overrated...or, at the very least, overhyped.
