Go to any boxing forum look at the poll results regarding Canelo/GGG & you'll see that the lowest percentage I saw for GGG was 75 % win draw 15% & Canelo 10% & that was a Mexican poll

i did not know that, thanks. but i was referring to canelo having offered beve a fight, which he turned down, so canelo offered it to kovalev, and he took it. theres a narrative that somehow gained traction that beve turned it down cause he wasnt given enough time, i want to know where that comes from. who said that?
True but talk is cheap. He may have been a roidster, its just difficult to believe he would not have been busted, given the length of his career.
Sorry, my bad. I misread the earlier post. Categorically though, Team Canelo never approached Team Beterbiev; either in 2019 or 2020 or any other time. Marc Ramsay confirmed this after the Dienes fight. He said they would love this fight but could not see it happening. The musings of a Kovalev-Canelo fight started in mid 2019 and finally happened in November. I would like to think the Beterbiev fight happens this year too....
