Tyson is absolutely among the best punchers ever and his power is not overrated. He could knock out anyone when landed cleanly, even durable ones.

What's so funny of having Louis ahead? Not everyone hates Louis like you do.

I don't hate Louis at all, I just think he's a tad overrated.
And the funny part is that having Louis ahead (and not just him) is completely wrong.
    Lewis hit way harder.

Based on the fact that he's way bigger and stronger, and not that far behind in terms of speed.
    Based on the eye test.
Based on the fact that he did not need too many punches to take out the opposition.

If you don't think Mike Tyson carried serious power then you need your head examined...

    .....

Louis and Tyson are on film knocking guys heads off with one punch from either hand. Only men to beat them either stood out of range or smothered their punching power.

    ESB experts: Overrated Power!

What the hell is half this nonsense? Are you muscle shaming Tyson? lol What is your point? he punches with intention?
And yet you have him below weightlifters and fighters who trained like Body builders?

Tyson punched substantially harder than Lyle or Marciano. I'd put him above Liston too, but that's closer.

No, Tyson is not the hardest puncher ever, and the few that would claim this on this board will soon be gone because they're such bad posters. But he had top power to go along with his great speed and accuracy. In short, he was a lethal puncher.

Lewis isn't close to Louis in terms of handspeed. Louis didn't need many punches to take out opponents either.

It's fine to have Lewis ahead of Louis, he was murderous puncher himself. It's not fine to call having Louis ahead laughable. Louis hit hard enough to be argued against anyone.

Lewis is no where near as fast as Louis…topic for another post I suppose. Power is more to equal though.

I think the OP poster has a few issues.

The reality was, in his pomp, Tyson's power was a mere bonus, his timing, footwork and hand speed was exceptional, and would have made him a superb fighter with or without the added bonus of the power.

He was so good for that period of time, it is clear that it was nature as well as hard work and excellent teaching, that gave him them traits.

The fact you can't write clearly only serves to make your idiotic opinion even more so.
