Pretty much echoing all my concerns and saying what I've been saying for a long time word for word

Sounds like Usyk has a team of amateurs around him

So if this fight is set for September does that mean AJ will only fight once this year?

2 fights in 2 years is a complete joke, this sport is slowly dieing, such a shame

People love to thrash Usyk for having trouble with Chisora, but so did Vitaly Klitchko, and Usyk fought the better version.
In my eyes he won 9rds of that fight cruised to a confortable win, had his eyes on the Joshua prize and didn't want to risk it. Still he rocked Chisora at the end of that rd 7.

With Papachenko training him, Im picking Usyk to win. His motivation will be massive for this.

There is a clear reason why Team Joshua insisted on that rematch clause, it probably cost them some good extra money.

Now Hearn is talking Dillian vs Fury for the end of the year.

    Is everything going to align?

Usyk hasn’t looked good in either of his 2 HW fights. Didn’t like how easily Chisora was able to find his chin with those slow, telegraphed overhand rights of his. I think Joshua gets him with that pull counter straight mid-rounds.

    Chisora has lost 10 fights.

    Chisora is not Joshua.

Unless Joshua's confidence is totally shot, Joshua KOs him.

    Nice payday though.

I'm an Usyk fan moreso than an AJ one, but I still see Joshua winning by close and controversial decision where he manages to bank the early rounds, then clinch and spoil his way to the finish line after Usyk starts turning up the heat.

Usyk's traditionally slow start and occasional defensive lapses might see him seated on his ass from a flash knockdown or two as he takes risks and leaves himself off balance trying to get inside of Joshua. I think, as always, he'll find his way into the fight and start to pick up Joshua's rhythm, but I think Joshua gets wise to it by the mid-rounds after Usyk starts peppering him up and resorts to trying to stymie Usyk with borderline illegal tactics that the ref turns a blind eye to. Usyk still does enough to keep the Joshua fans worried, but not enough for the judges to categorically give him the rounds. Usyk will attempt to adapt but Joshua will just resort to more clinching and wrestling and other time-wasting tactics till the final bell sounds.

    SD to Joshua.

Usyk will switch to survival payday mode pretty quickly

Ring circling for 12 rounds solid

    AJ wins UD

Usyk can box at a very high level but simply doesn't have the power or size to handle a professional top tier heavyweight.

Like I said, Usyk has a bunch of amateurs surrounding him

In addition to two of his last three opponents being good friends with AJ (Bellew and Chisora) and AJ has already said he is going to be seeking out advice from Usyk's previous opponents, he's enlisting the services of Martin Bakole for sparring for this camp :facepalm:

''When Martin Bakole returns from the specialist food shop that sells African produce in his quaint Scottish village, he will flick through a deluge of personal well-wishes and will expect to find one from Anthony Joshua. The world champion is a “best friend” and a regular sparring partner but Bakole is eyeing the crown to the heavyweight division – he is no stranger to royal gold, having forsaken a life of sovereignty in Africa for the uphill battle as a boxing contender.

“He could beat Joshua and Tyson Fury tomorrow, no problem,” beams Billy Nelson. “We have really good sparring. A lot of people avoid sparring me so when he gives me the chance, I always go. You can’t go into a fight without good sparring. I go to Joshua not with the attitude of a sparring partner – I go for myself.”

“I have a very good relationship with Joshua. He is my best friend, we joke on WhatsApp,” he added. “Steel sharpens steel. Joshua is a big, strong guy and so is Martin. Their boxing brains work overtime together and that is the most important thing.”

Been saying this for a while. Aj wins a close, somewhat controversial decision. I expect Aj to knick the early rounds with his jab and a few mid range combos and he will probably try and walk Usyk down a little bit too. similar to what Lopez did to Lomachenko then Usyk will turn up the pace and Aj will be more defensive minded and will be looking to work and counter behind a stiff jab. I also see Joshua clinching a lot.

This is literally going to be heavyweight version of Lomachenko vs Lopez expect Aj is going to gas late unlike Lopez.

Joshua vs Parker is the closest thing to Joshua vs Usyk and that fight went the distance which is also why i see it going to the cards.

It will be a competitive fight and Aj will take the decision whether he earns it or not via Unanimous, Majority, or split. There's just too much on the line right now for him to not get the decision if it goes the distance. The possible superfight between Joshua and Fury could happen next summer if Joshua gets past Usyk and Joyce.

I hope Joshua destroys Usyk in one round so he gets hyped to the moon and makes Fury the underdog

Then Fury smashes Joshua into bits and retires as the goat
