Who was the scarier fighter out of the three at their peaks, Sonny Liston, G.Foreman or Mike Tyson?

Scary as in intimidating, frightening, the violence, the persona, the demeanor, the style, the emotion or lack of it.

Ask Tyson & Foreman themselves. They will tell you. LISTON
BUT all would be wrong. The most feared fighter in history was Joe Louis.

Would you rather square off with a shark, crocodile or lion? All three of those were shockingly scary at their best.

Liston for me, to hi-jack the thread somewhat, how about the most avoided ?
Thinking Burley must rate high, also LaMotta was prob the best MW for 4/5 years, Moore could have been champ at 29 as opposed to 39, just a few of the top of my head . keep well.

Sonny Liston. Highly avoided and feared by many, even Ali was scared of him behind all that talk and bravado. He just had that look and intimidation factor that no other fighter could bring. Not to mention his ties to the mob. Anyone who has deep connections to the mob is scarier in my book.

Liston. People must have been pooping their pants when he mowed over Patterson...twice.

Of the three, the most physically intimidating was certainly Foreman at his peak. Liston and Tyson had similarities in their ways of intimidating the opponent. Tyson never hid his admiration for Sonny, and he certainly assimilated much of Liston's style when facing his opponent. I remember reading an interview with Tyson in Playboy magazine where he said something like this: "Liston was orgasmic. He was someone who physically destroyed his opponents".
Indeed, when I see the expression on Sonny Liston's face when facing his opponents before the fight, the impression he gives me is this: this is someone who intends to seriously hurt you when the gong sounds....

For a swarmer with a pretty good chin, Liston. For a swarmer with a really good chin, Foreman. For a boxer, Tyson.

Personally, I think its a generational thing. Tyson was the man of my generation, he would strike fear in to me more than the others.

I wouldnt like to be in a stare down with any of them.
