I find it funny that a fighter can spend most of his adult prime fighting amateurs, join the paid ranks at 29, fight less than 20 fights at one weight class and then claim they are being aged out by the cash cow of boxing who's natural weight is 2 divisions below as soon as the fight starts being talked about. How big was Canelos window to get a a legit win over beterbiev in the eyes of his fans?

 

There is only one way to determine this: fight till last man standing.

This is resaon why I do not agree with comparison with boxers from 12, 15 and 20. 25 , 30 rounders era.

Canelo, when he signed to face Kov, said Kov was the better LtHW fighter at the time. So if he beat the best LtHW (According to him), he's a LtHW and not some tiny fighter like you want to pretend. Guys should NOT fight for belts if they do not plan to defend them. And stay out of a division title fight if you don't plan to fight there!
