Not giving your opponent credit is an easy way to make them less inclined to grant you a rematch. He acted cocky beforehand then the damage control came. Lomachenko brought this on himself.

    Okey.
I really do not have intent to watch Lopez fights if I should pay for this and with this for me all is ended.
Why to worry and waste money?
After some time hero fights will be posted in YT etc and this is posters own business.

Loma absolutely does not need to show any bare sign of respect to Lopez and his coc ky money and fame hungry dad.
Ol bob had defeated all of these and this is real life.

I think Lopez never will get credit he or ol bob or his dad dreaming to get.
He should be milked out asap until next hero will appear.

Probably, considering Loma planned on doing the same thing, if he won. That's why Loma didn't want a rematch claus to begin with. Funny, nobody that complains about Lopez refusing the rematch, rarely, if at all, brings up the fact that Loma didn't want a rematch from the start.

    Naw, you are wrong.
I think that if Loma had won, he did not had gave Lopez a rematch by 99% cos Loma is very co ck y.

So Lopez I think did correctly that had refused immediate rematch vs Loma.

While fight in real was far more close than tribal boxing fans are dreaming in their worst nightmares.
Cos they are usually rude and selfish , with more high chips on shoulders than Lopez or Loma. Simple rude, tribal, nationalistic and selfish lads posting in forums.

That's what I'm saying. Loma would not have given Lopez a rematch if he had won.

 Possibly not, depending on how he won. But the truth is, you really don't know

Well, it sure looks like he was not planning on a rematch.

Lomachenko rematch is the biggest money fight out there for Lopez.

Loma wouldn't have rematched Lopez and certainly not for an inferior share of the purse.

Loma is the B Side now, he has to accept it.

I don't know you can come to that conclusion, since:
    1. Loma did not win
    2. Teo doesn't want a rematch

So basically you are just guessing Loma wouldn't do one, probably since Teo isn't keen on the idea

I think Loma is more about belts etc not only money.

If he had been only about money, he had stayed as long as it is possible in lowest weight class available for him, had did defenses preferably vs weak opponents and between these fights had KOed or TKOed bums in rows.
Ppl likes this and he then had more $ and more respect in US in casual fans circles. Casual fans are most important force in prize fighting.

If Loma thought he was the better fighter, why didn’t he just have the rematch clause in the first place?

I come to that conclusion because Loma did not want a rematch claus when negotiating the contract. Of course, he felt this way because he thought he was going to beat Lopez with one arm.

Did Teo want a rematch clause? Did he ask for one? Weird...a fighter thought he was going to win. They never do that....

Only a fool would refuse a rematch claus knowing he has a bad arm. Not too smart or over confident or took Lopez too lightly. All of the above? Don't try changing the narrative now. It's pretty well known and established that the refusal of the rematch claus falls squarely on Loma camp. Don't get me wrong, Lopez should give Loma the rematch. Too many unanswered questions.
