I don't dispute he could sell out an arena what I dispute is he could sell out a stadium. Especially vs Usyk.

Fury vs. Wilder would do the same numbers int he UK as Joshua vs. Usyk. 100%. Maybe even better numbers which i suggest. If you don't see that you're either biased or just don't have a clue.

I'm not saying Fury vs. Wallin would sell out a stadium but Fury vs. any Top 5 HW would sell out any arena or stadium or whatever the UK has to offer for a boxing fight. 100%.

I like it, gives more time to marinate the fight and also coincides with AJ vs Usyk

What are you basing that on because Fury has never been big enough in the UK to fill a stadium or sold confirmed PPV numbers even close to what AJ does.

Fact is AJ is the bigger draw hence why his paydays dwarf Fury's. Joshua was estimated to earn $60 mill minimum for the Ruiz Jr rematch when has Fury even made half that?

Fury's popularity has grown since his 2 fights with Wilder but he still isn't as big a name as AJ and AJ also has far wider international appeal.

No I'm saying like for like.

Bob Arum would not stage a Fury v Usyk fight at a stadium.

Usyk beats AJ its a different matter but as of now Usyk is nowhere near big enough to cause a demand for a stadium fight.

AJ can sell 50k tickets in a stadium on his name alone. I don't think Fury can do that.

As for a Fury v Wilder 3 fight in the UK. I don't think it could fill stadium but I don't hold that against Fury. As I said asking 50k + to buy tickets to a fight that nobody wanted is hard work.

    Lol Fury playing games

Virus is barely deadly, just isolate whoever failed the test & get on with it.

Forget waiting to see Wilder get spanked again.

Err..... Yeah but no. These two fools and their management teams played some seriously tricksy BS on Hearn and his powerful ME investors to deprive us fans of the biggest fight in recent boxing history.

If this fight gets ****ed over (I don't actually care for it as we've seen it twice already), I say it's Karma and I hope Usyk and AJ just continue to do their thing.

Has anyone pulled out of more fights than Fury?

It's obvious this one isn't happening they have put zero effort into promoting it and it's supposedly 2 weeks away. Covid is just an excuse.

With travel restrictions being lifted the week school ends and the fight being at a ridiculous hour, UK PPV will be virtually non existent.

    Covid my arse!
Yet another dodgy move by top rank more like.
Bob arum really pisses me off- sooner he gets packed off into a care home the better.

If the fight was going ahead there would have been more press conferences ect to build it up.
Fury calling out Wilders bull**** excuses face to face would have got everyone buzzing.

If I was Joshua I'd tell Bob and fury to **** off if/when they decide they are serious about wanting to fight

But I believe the Canelo fight in September is going to be on DAZN, as opposed to PPV (correct me if I’m wrong). They are trying to space out the PPV events (at least the cards that are on PPV in the US market where they routinely cost $75 to $80), as the average boxing fan only has so much money they are willing to spend on PPV in a given month or two.

Bob probably looked at the card and realized it's too good, needs to cut some names and make himself more money.
