According to Hearn, this is the backup plan should Tyson Fury be forced to withdraw from his trilogy fight against Wilder due to a COVID-19 outbreak in his camp).

Ostensibly it would be for the WBC interim heavyweight title, with the victor promoted to full champ if Fury doesn't immediately unify with them next.

My mrs watched the Bodyguard yesterday and I couldn't help but thinking how much the publicist reminded me of fast Eduardo.

Whyte batters him, 1 or 2 round KO. Just a different level to Wilder who has too many weaknesses. Wilder has a glass chinn and useless on back foot. Whyte would back him up, physically bullly, rough him up and take him a part.

There's reason Wilder has a cherry pick resume and has avoided like the plague fighting a big puncher his whole career .

I can’t see someone who has been dropped, seriously hurt or knocked out in 4 of his last 6 fights not getting starched by Wilder.

Whyte isn’t hard to hit, as he gets sloppy during fights.

Wilder only needs to get you once with that right hand

Hearn just talking shite here to make Wilder look bad. He knows as well as we all do Wilder won't ever accept the fight even vs a fat out of shape Whyte.

Would love it if it happened to save a great undercard and actually give us a more competitive main event. But it's never happening.

Wilders management would never allow Wilder in with big puncher so this isn't happening.

Would love to see it, so that means it’s not happening.

Don't be surprised if Whyte failed a drug test right before weigh in.

Hearns a promoter. If he doesn’t throw his fighters name in the hat then he’s not doing his job. Given that they couldn’t get wilder to fight whyte for 2 years he knows full well he won’t take him on short notice.

If Wilder is on form, Wilder KO's.
