Sad state that it's come to this. With the rest of the top 15 ducking Hrgovic and turning down an eliminator I guess it's the only option left for Hrgovic and the IBF. I won't criticise Hrgovic for taking this fight, he really had no option. But if he does win this and become mandatory it puts him in an odd position. Clearly nobody wants to fight him even for a mandatory shot so who does he fight before actually fighting for the title? He might very well just get thrown in a title fight without the usual experience built up as a pro, he'll be going from journeymen to world champion and you wonder how he will cope with the sudden jump up in class.
Well if it makes Hrgovic the IBF mandatory then that's no bad thing but McKean has no place being anywhere near an eliminator.

Most likely depends from money they are able to offer too. I think Chisora and Pulev might agree if money offered is enough good. Maybe they might book ( I think unrealistic dream ) Gassiev and Briedis to fight vs Hrgovic. Hrgovic there looks that isn't guilty? Is he? Everyone in the top 15 turned it down. Mckean apparently only one in top 20 willing to take the fight. My guess is if he gives a good account of himself they sign him to Matchroom as they are launching in Australia in 2022.
Chisora and Pulev aren’t ranked by IBF. It was offered to all of the top 15. Plus Pulev was mandatory literally 6 months ago and got poleaxed Bakole was apparently willing to take it but has Visa issues. Mckean was the only other fighter to step up.

If this is the case, just make Hgrovic the mandatory. If no one will fight him it means they're scared. If he's challenging them all and they run away like little bitches then he should be made mandatory, or the condition should be if you want a title shot, you fight Hrgovic.
