Shelly Finkel says Wilder has had both jabs and Team Fury are yet to agree the deadline extension for the fight to go ahead at a future date.

Wht don't we just park championship HW boxing for 18 months.

Oh wait we already have (apart from Joshua beating up an overrated 40 year old).

HW boxing is a complete farce at the moment.

Said to my mate 2 weeks ago that I have a feeling the fight won't happen on the 24th...

Ffs... This needs to get sorted and be over with ASAP, I don't want to see and listen to the utterly delusional deontay wilder for a mitute longer than I have to, it's been to long already.

    Meh!

It feels mean spirited to be too cynical, but this smacks of a reaction to either poor ticket sales, a poor training camp, or both. The move to October doesn't strike me as being Covid related, but a tactical shift to increase interest in the fight. If AJ beats Usyk in September then this fight will be huge and it will make far more money than it was destined to on July 24th.

Regardless of whether it was a covid test or bad news from the ticket office that led to the postponement. I feel for the fans that have booked flights, hotels, time off work etc.

It’s not quite two gay men sitting on a bench kissing “gay”…..but it’s more than just the tip “gay”.

This is just embarrassing. Low ticket sales, Fury camp using Covid as an excuse to get out of the fight. Remember when Fury declared he was getting off social media to prepare for this lmao.

Fury is looking for a way out. He has nowhere to run to or hide. He has no other choice but to fight Wilder. His only other choice is to retire (which will make him look like a scary coward).

Are you guys actually suggesting he's scared of Wilder ? After getting robbed in the first fight and completely dismantling him in the second ? Wasn't Wilder the on wearing headphones at the press conference. You fanboys cease to amze me with your stupidity

100%..but I think your optimistic with the card not being scrapped.. I want Wilder to at least fight someone on that card . Only thing is a meh prospect like Ajagba is still a risk to Wilder, so they'll probably feed a tin can to Wilder. I'm not even convinced Wildwr fights anyone if the card goes ahead though

Lol. I'm not even a Wilder fan, but it's obvious to everyone that Fury has a track record at pulling out, or delaying immediate rematches (Klitschko, Wilder I & now II). What happened in the 2nd fight is irrelevant - Fury is not physically (& maybe mentally) ready for the 3rd fight. That's why his dad, Hatton, Davison & Arum have shown some concern for Fury going into the fight. He's currently overweight, is most likely on drugs & is getting beaten up in sparring close to the fight. Wilder is physically & mentally ready (yes he's unhinged, but maybe that's what gets him physical up & focused). Fury & his team see this. Get past your awe for Fury to see what's in front of you. He's not invincible.
