IT was rare for Vitali to match a top 5 contender. It's not about beating up his little brother, at all.

Fury would be too slick and big for Vitali.

Pro boxer is good if he is from proper country. This should be here because this is business service for entertainment and amusement purposes.
Nothing more, you should be from proper country and with proper promoter than you will be good boxer in forums posts and YT comments for sure.
Like Lewis because is from Canada and U.K did not " had " glass chin unlike Wlad etc casual pro boxing fans noise.
    LOL.

Normal toughness is not pro boxing, it is h2h without ref and hometown commentators or judges.
I suspect that in good shape Spong might be better for real h2h than in prime Lewis.

40 year old Wladimir almost beat Fury.

To me it's pretty clear to pick Vitali over Fury. Ultimately, Fury has 2 good wins. Over a 40 year old and over Wilder. He's not a KO artist. He doesn't do anything at an ATG level. There's nothing for Vitali to worry about here, his style is better here than Wlads anyway. Maybe ten years from now I reflect differently but I do doubt Fury is going to drop in performances that make me say that.

Not likely he even needed this.
He most likely had relatively serious problems before his first lost pro fight and after this etc, also later back problems.
Klits had been money wise, more like businessmans - investors and I suspect that they had continued too long as pros just due to intertia, thing common for EE origin/ FSU origin boxers.
Vitali also had been ranked during long years by WBC while Wlad by IBO, WBA, IBF, WBO.

While chin wise Vitali had far better chin than Wlad or Lewis or even maybe Ali.
Vitali looks that was not passionate clinch fighter, here most likely good clinchers might get him a lot of problems.

That fight was not close. Fury outboxed him almost every round. However Wlad was 39 practically 40 and had Wlad attacked Fury from the start like he did in round 12 he might've beaten him. Maybe thats why Fury didn't give him an 2nd fight, literally like Fury was obligated to do it via contract and he just didn't. Wlad himself said he was going to actually going to let his hands go and had been training for it.

Weird then that the guys in the top 5 avoided him but the guys ranked 6-10 did not.

Vitali fought a lot of guys ranked 6-10.

Frankly, that sounds like something made up to me.

No. For example, Lewis retired, rather than fight Vitali a second time.

Vitali called those top guys out after every fight, as did Wladimir.

I flat out reject the notion that Vitlai was consistently ducked by fighters ranked Ch to 5 but consistently fought by fighters ranked 6-10. That would be absolutely astonishing if true.

James Toney was ranked top 5 for two years during Vitali Klitschko's time in the top five, and Vitali's people never even called him. Valuev got to the table but refused to sign a contract that included a fight with Vitali's brother (Wtf?) should Vitali lose to him. He also refused the purse of just one million dollars.

Vitali's problem was that he wanted control of his opponent for about two years after he beat him. Established fighters had less reason to accept these awful terms.

I do think there would have been some reluctance on the part of some to get in the ring with Vitali, but don't tell me that "they ducked him." That is a horrible mis-representation of what went on with Vitali Klitschko in his prime.

No, it was a rematch clause with him, Vitali, followed by a bizarre match clause with Wladimir. This, specifically, is why Valuev said he refused to sign.

No, it was a rematch clause to fight EITHER Vilali OR Wlad, not both.

Vilali would have picked the Sasquatch apart, maybe stop him late. Let's not forget Chagaev beat Valuev.

I think their levels are comparable. Because of Fury's style, he can beat a variety of styles at similar levels. IMHO, Vitali would be more limited. I'm going with Fury being the tougher head to head guy in most cases.
