He's alright skill wise, problem is he totally lacks heart and is there simply to collect a check. Gassiev just needs to stay active at this point, fights like this are fine for now, just so long as the activity picks up.
Well, when after WBSS final Gassiev was inactive for long time till get lost ranking in boxing orgs and had been marked as inactive in boxrec too, then why not? Now he had 1 fight and is marked as active and ranked somewhere, then next fight, then next fight after this. Ofc previous achievements and fights will play role in ranking I think. He really needs at least some 3-4 tune up fights, 1 he already had, at least isn't inactive. Next fight, then next fight.
I've read that Ren TV has this listed from 10am-3pm EST? That seems off (although Russian cards do sometimes run crazy early, but usually the lower-level ones); that is 5-10pm in Moscow, so Gassiev and Wallisch making ring walks at like 9 local?

Let's hope this is a springboard to something good for the Iron Man! I wouldn't even mind if he fights Teper next, as long as it is a quick turnaround. I can understand that it is hard to get that big opponent, but he should at least be fighting often.
Wallish is a lateral move from Teper. Both kind of suck, but they have 'names' as ranked contenders in the not too distant past. I'm okay with maybe a fight or two versus this ilk to feel the waters, but he'll need to improve by Fight #3 or #4 in this HW run.
