I agree, he has been managed excellently. He had loads of defeats when Haye came on board with Chisora getting on in years and not good enough to be world champion. He then adds a barrow loads of money to Chisoras bank accounts. Job Done well.
Chisora had very good career financially wise. When he had fight vs then 40 y.o almost one handed Vitali and fight went all distance, after this he get fight vs the same Haye. Both of these ofc well paid fights and Chisora's career went not down, this went till next well paid fights vs top ranked boxers. Ppl ofc might ask, why guy with so high number of lost fights is still very actual. During modern HW era looks that is not easy to get fights for highly ranked boxers. Last Chisora fights were vs Parker and Usyk, this proves such theory. Chisora also is not bad boxer, he is enough good. divas are talking xx months, Chisora box if enough $ is offered.
Maybe the 'Georgian mansion' he is referring to is the ex marital home in Orpington, Kent? Haye himself is from Bermondsey and lives in a flat in south west London, as showcased on through the keyhole. Lemon also makes quite a funny reference (timestamped): This content is protected
He has been getting big matches and big paydays. Sure he could be matched with 6 easy wins but what is the point in his situation?
He would have lost massive amount of money with your advise plus fans would have lostr some great entertaining fights
Ten years ago he fought for the British title, lost that then fought for the European title, lost that and got a world title fight, lost that and headlined a big open-air show. Ten years and seven losses later he's still doing PPVs. And what is more, he's the good guy in every fight he has. I would say he's the best-managed British heavyweight of all time.
Maybe Chisora left Haye as he wants to keep the bulk of his purse after he loses to Parker again. This will be his last big fight, no point in having Haye as manager.
One of two things has surely happened here. Haye has had enough of dealing with Dereck who's clearly rather difficult to deal with and they've parted ways or Chisora is soon calling it a day and wants to maximise his purses by removing Haye's % More than likely it's the 2nd option but whatever has happened, Del Boy has had an Indian Summer to his career and Haye deserves his share of credit for that. He showed him how he needs to be training and the shape he needs to be in to fight at the level he's been fighting and helped secure fights that earned him a boat load of cash.
Wouldn't be suprised to see Bellew appointed as his manager for his last couple of fights, so they can continue to fleece the British public out of a couple more PPV's.
The sooner Bellew, Haye, and Chisora clear off from boxing, the better. Used to love Haye as a fighter until he couldn't back up his big talk against Bellew. Going into the fight injured, knowing full well he wouldn't last, just to pick up the money, not once but twice, still angers me to this day. The fact that he lost to the one boxer I despise the most, angers me even more. Now he'll forever be known as the man that lost to mouthy and gobby, Tony Bellew. Twice. Chisora is a massive con artist as well. Talking about he's had his best camp yet, about 12 times yet went on to lose every one of those fights. Bellew is just Bellew. Nothing more you can say about this cringe merchant. I've given up on wishing this guy would clear off from our screens, because his asslicking skills are so on point that he'll always worm his way into some media role. The slimey toerag.
