Well he only had one fight at LW vs David Diaz who I think wasn't the best at LW though was a top LW at the time. Nate Campbell was probably the top LW as he'd beaten Juan Diaz to unify 3 of the titles but he never made lightweight again, failing to make weight vs Ali Funeka. Plus if my memory serves me correctly Goldenboy were trying to make JMM vs Campbell for Nov 08 but Campbell refused saying he wanted it in the summer of 08 or not at all. I also doubt King who was Campbell's promoter would of made it easy for Arum his long term rival to make Pac/Campbell and after the Diaz fight decided to fight Oscar in a fight many would have seen as far more dangerous than Campbell at the time.

Pac fought the best welters available in Cotto, Margarito and Mosley. Sure Mayweather was the best but we all know what happened there and they only agreed terms once Pac had lost to Bradley and Marquez so you can also say Mayweather never fought the best other welter in his era at least not until he looked beatable and was no longer the best welter.

As for Light middle, did Pac move up to 154lbs at some point without my knowledge? How can he fight the best in the division he's never fought at, why not blame him for not fighting the best heavyweight while your at it.

Pac isn't even the best of his own era let alone a top 10 atg or the Goat. His wins over Duran benitez hearns and Hagler absolutely destroys pacs best even his loses aren't bad like pacs. How many fighter in the history managed to win title from 4 traditional weight class.
Fly Feather Light and Welter.
It could have been 5 if he decided to stop at bantamweight.

I like you as well but I have to call it like I see it. It doesn't matter, pac was huge at those lower weights he wasn't a natural at those weights and that's why he was getting ktfo he was drained. Yeah he moved up and but he lost some not goodand didn't beat elite atgs like people who are ranked in the top 10 atg. His best win is really MAB good fighter but not even a top 70 or 80 atg. He lost the legacy fight of the era against a old pbf which wasn't close. He has longevity but so did hopkins there's more to it than that.

What srl did was Goat worthy yet he's not even considered a top 10 atg. His resume destroys pacs he was a better h2h fighter than pac and he won titles from 147-175 and his loses aren't nearly as bad losing to Duran a top 5 or 10 atg Norris a top 5 atg at 154 at the end of his career and Camacho a hof fighter at the end of his career. There's no way pac is greater than srl these are the types of fighters you're up against when you're talking about this level and srl isn't even a top 10 atg. I'm sorry but pac simply doesn't measure up to this level.

Next to that, what Armstrong did was also special, holding and defending 3 world titles from 3 different classes from the original weight classes.

Duran's 32(?) and 41 win streaks were also spectacular.

On the flip side, Pac's would've been 10 legitimate (discarding the Margarito paper belt) major world titles in 10 different divisions had he not skipped those divisions is still mighty impressive.
But really, the 5 lineal titles, oldest WW champ, 4-decade boxing champ, and his HoF-filled resume (MAB, Morales, JMM, ODLH, Cotto, Mosley, etc) and his genuine balls of steel is what makes him a once in a lifetime fighter as well.
If he wins this fight vs Spence, I will have no problems with people arguing him ahead of Duran.
