Marvin Haler Vs Gennnady Golvkin Who would win?

Who would win between the two middle weight legends Marvin Hagler and Gennady Golvkin?

 

It's a better matchup than most people give credit for.

Both guys have a lot of similarities. Both in strengths and weaknesses. But I will pick Hagler. His ability to switch hit could throw a ****** wrench into GGGs plan of attack

 

I do think that this is a good match up I feel like ggg is the better boxer while hagler is a better brawler

 

I agree. There are n't many I would confidently pick over Hagler at 160 lbs.

GGG puts up a good fight for a while, but, Hagler eventually busts him up. Hagler is better in almost every department but size. He is faster, a better boxer, keeps a faster pace, and hits just as hard (if not harder.) No way Golvkin dents Hagler's chin. GGG is a great fighter. And, I once had hopes he would prove himself an ATG. But, he never did. Hagler is on the Mount Rushmore of ATG middleweight fighters. He would relish the chance to prove that he was better than Gennady.

So Golovkin is a legend now? lol

 

Any fighter at Middleweight that comes at Marvin Hagler and is there to get hit loses, badly. Especially Hagler after the 1st Antefermo fight.
That would include Triple G. Who in my opinion is very overrated, and I don't believe he beats the version of Duran Hagler fought and beat much less Hagler himself.
Triple Gs Style would be his undoing .
Hagler had issues with slick fighters that could counter quickly, and patient enough to force him to lead.
Triple G. Was a bull in the ring, his game was overwhelming pressure, and a great chin.
That was good enough against the level of fighters he fought. But Hagler? That's what he would want him to do.
This fight would resemble some of Haglers best wins. The opponent tries to force the issue , and in doing that would allow Hagler to use his entire arsenal.
Hagler wins this convincingly. No need for a 2nd fight.

 

I like Hagler but GGG is no joke and very much on this fight. I have Hagler by UD. Both fighters being tough as nails.

The Hagler that busted up Sibson right up to the Duran fight is too much for GGG.

He's a much better boxer, snappier and faster punches, different angles, combination puncher, chin and will.
