Is Spence okay?

Horn and Spence fight nothing alike. They couldn't be more different in their approach to ring combat. Horn is awkward with herky jerky movements. Spence is more traditional and technically sound and he's not a dirty fighter save for his body shots straying low at times.

If Pac isn't completely shot and has one more in him, he should be able to read Spence easily and have his way.

I ain't worried about Spence. I'm worried about Pac's age, inactivity, and his tank. Father Time is the real opponent here.

spence beats the crap out of the manny that fought thurman. if youre hoping for a better manny than that one, then youre gonna be very disappointed. age, spence, distractions, whats it matter? spence isnt favored because everything thats worrying you hasnt been taken into account, it has, thats why hes favored.

because thats the debate. spence is going to beat pac. why you believe that will happen, or why it wont, doesnt matter. what im debating on is whether it will happen or not. i will debate how it will happen in the prediction threads, right now im saying there is a reason spence is favored, and the things you bring up in contradiction, have already been put into the equation, and still spence is favored. so as far as those things making a difference, they dont, in what is expected to happen. nobody knows whats actually going to happen, so debates are really about what is most likely to happen, given the available information. and none of your creative reasoning is going to make manny the favorite, or likely to win. so whats it matter?

Pac's age and inactivity decides this fight. You know this. I know this. Everyone knows this.

You are trippin. By fight time Spence will be a slight favorite, look at the line movement already. This is a 60-40 fight in favor of Spence at the moment.

 

thats cause all the jokers in the philippines are betting their checks on pac, thats whats causing the line. im talking about genuine boxing heads making pac a favorite.

 

Fair point, but it will also be telling if not much money comes in on Spence. Books took a monster loss in the Thurman fight because hardly any action was coming in on him, and a lot of the money played was when Pac was a dog. A fun bet in this fight for me is a Manny KO/TKO because the odds will be huge, and Spence's chin is yet to be truly tested after that crash. It is a virtual unknown, and Manny always finds the chin at some point. Spence by decision may be the most likely outcome, but I may play the Manny KO when I have a few beers in me before the fight sitting in the casino haha.

 

You definitely shouldn't repeat it as it was a terrible comparison.

 

There isn't enough money and volume in the PI for Pac's people to move the line.

theres going to be a lot of last minute money coming in on spence. the serious bettors are waiting for the manny fans to even up the odds as much as possible, so they can get better value on their spence bet. its a smart play with any super famous fighter. they attract the casual bettor who bets with his heart.
