Since Mauricio Sulaiman advertised this, I have heard nothing about it. Are there any rankings/ fights in a while? Someone told me the story of Bridger, the kid who fought the dogs off his sister, was a stupid move exploiting his misery simply for financial gains/ sanctioning fees.

I remember deontay was pretty vocal about this, he insisted he's no Bridger, he's here to fight the heaviest of the heavyweights. Gotta give him props for stepping into that squared circle, the chamber of truth, where he was almost willing to die in. And then after almost getting killed, he wants to go back in there. Big courage man!

So far it's produced this pretty damn entertaining scrap, Romanov vs. Kudryashov. Same skill level as the Cruiserweight division, just a little chunkier.

Apparently Rivas vs Jennings is happening for the first ever title some time in September in Canada.

Romanov dominated. Treated him like a punching bag.

Well, if legacy wise, sadly I should agree because he had performed vs then 32 y.o Povetkin ( with good legs ) better than recently Hunter vs " legless " Pov or Whyte in 1 st fight vs Povetkin's ghost. While damn, Pove then had weight advantage vs Huck and then was undefeated pro boxer and am boxing superstar ( like Usyk ) and am KB star.

After fights vs Glowacki in US, Briedis and Usyk in Germany he didn't looked in prime anymore, still he is only approx 3 months older than Briedis.

At least up until the last two rounds, when Dmitry started lighting him up. He lost the last round, pretty badly.. his eye was completely ****ed, it's a pity Kudryashov didnt have more faith in himself, had he started that about 3 rounds earlier, he could have stopped Evgeny.

Yeah it was a fun finish.

Dunno if it was fun enough to make Romanov the WBC's "Silver Bridgerweight champion" though

History repeats, when Durodola had sparked Kudra who then had good fights record and was a prospect, he turned into WBC Cruiserweight Silver belt holder. While yeah, Durodola then too had not bad record and was perspective, 35 y.o boxer.
