This feels very much as a cherry pick, but i hope it will go wrong. Romelo is a KO artist and Yigit hasnt knocked anybody out, but he knows how to go 12 rounds and has been in the ring with (bigger) punchers as Barinchyk. Yigit comes from a two year long lay off and had to lose >12kg in two weeks (which he failed to do, i just hope he isnt to hampered by some rehydration clause). But during these two years hes been in camps for cancelled fight, so hes not been sitting on the sofa for two years. With fair judges i think Yigit takes it in points, but concidering the location and promoters of the fight i think he needs the knock out.
Pretty unprofessional of Yigit. I believe he was already billed to be on this undercard and stepped into this fight. To say you'll fight at 135 and come in that much over is pretty bad form.
Most likely billed for a fight at 140. What the **** is he supposed to do? Drop 5 pounds in a week, which he's probably physically incapable of doing? Maybe he thought he could when he signed up for it, but realized quickly that he was wrong.
Rolando Romero more than any current professional fighter needs to be violently, and I mean violently ***** slapped in the ring, back into reality. He's got a nasty ass demeanor with a seemingly perpetual chip on his shoulder, and **** on his upper lip angry bitchface. He's profoundly unlikable and repellent to the extreme. He's got a elbow smashable face if I've ever seen one. The humbling coming his way will hopefully be Maidana/Broner level times ten. Sadly, I just don't think Yigit is the man for the job. Even though I think Yigit will deserve the nod, it won't be an ass whipping or decisive enough to overcome the obvious.
Well CLEARLY he was wrong, that or he just didn't care and winged it and hoped the other team wouldn't walk and he'd get his bigger paycheque regardless.
