Will there still be a boxing event on July 24?

I see they still have those fights listed on BoxRec, at least for now.

Those are interesting matchups, I hope they are not going to be postponed until October.

    Probably...

TR taking a while to confirm it's all cancelled though

Lots of legal obligations I suppose.

While they are not the greatest fights, I think they are going to be interesting bouts to watch. And given what boxing dishes out to it's fans I'll take what I can get.

Ajagba has Covid so I doubt the card will come to fruition.

I hope they keep the undercard bouts as they were solid matchups. Hopefully we'll hear either way soon as the date is just around the corner.

Postponed. Entire undercard will take place alongside Fury-Wilder III, looking like October 9.

Boxing might be a mess, but it's not boxing's fault that the world in which it now lives is a circus.

Isnt it time though for boxers and promoters to adjust to this clownword era? We are balls deep into limited fans/no fans now. It has been like this for over 16 months.

If boxers dont want to fight with less money on the table find those who do.

Promoters/Managers need to pay them less to fight without fans/limited fans.

    Come on, this isnt difficult.

If they are assuming it will all be back to normal on October 9th, then I have news for them right now. It wont be.

I am always one of the first to call out the PPV mugs in the British forum, because it is the consumer who ultimately has the power. They are the mugs for letting this happen.

Boxers and promoters have become so greedy that they have been completely taking the **** out of the consumer for around 5 years (on a regular basis). It's getting worse and worse, and as you infer, boxers and promoters are trying to duke it out through this period, because they know that they can. If the consumer stopped getting down on both knees some time ago, we wouldn't be in this situation. It's the same old conversation that comes up every time a PPV is announced in the British forum.

Looking at things holistically, I very much am on your side of the fence.

My initial comment was only made because although I think this current overpaying culture in boxing is a needless and easily solvable problem, what is happening in the world even transcends that.
