Seems the majority are writing manny off in this.i think he's got a great chance and will be putting money on it.Manny's foot and hand speed will give the very good but basic and robotic Spence kittens imo.

There's also the fact he's 31 and has been fighting at 147 since 2012. We see so many British fighters doing that and I think it eventually comes back to bite them in the backside especially at that age.

    Too early to tell still.
IMHO he looked really slow in his pre-camp videos, probably slowest I've seen him.
BUT, his recent videos are showing a different Manny. He's slowly picking up the old speed that he had, and they're really focusing on power and stamina.
I think they know they need KD's or a KO to win this one because he's the old cash cow on his way out.
Also, I can't believe why people can't see that Spence's style is tailor made for Pacquiao.
Most people simply believe Pac is too old thus it's improbable for him to pull the upset, myself included.

I picked him to beat Thurman, and think he has the right style for Spence, but the inactivity and his stamina worry me.

I think he may start strong, but fade late and be stopped.

Yes Pac can pull off the upset but he will need to not only produce the performance of a lifetime at age 42 but also Spence will need to be poorly trained and over confident. Can all those stars align on one single night ?? We've seen stranger things in boxing but I'm going for a Spence UD with Pac winning 4 rounds or so.

I highly doubt it, but i admittedly can not stand Spence so would be overjoyed if he did

I'll be cheering Manny on the night

Spence will target his body as he usually does the first few rounds and win comfortably on points IMO

Spence won't be able to do this against Pac. He'll leave his chin way too open because of the height difference.
And if he did do it, he would win zero rounds because you won't score rounds if you're just hitting the body while your opponent is tagging you on your chin.

I'm curious. What styles to you think Pacman and Spence fight in?

I love how Pac is just straight chilling, nothing to really lose (expect his health) In win, win situations against everyone he comes up against. I love Manny the modern Mongoose.

Spence is sometimes a boxer puncher, but before the Garcia fight he was more a pressure fighter. I think the problem is that he fights with a wide stance that limits his mobility and therefore would leave him vulnerable against guys with real fast feet.
Pac is a swarmer who tries to overwhelm his opponents with speedy combinations and darts in and out with his fast feet.

Hmm it's a bridge too far, 2 years inactivity will surely play it's role up against the younger, stronger biggar man. Not to mention Spence is a very dangerous fighter.

Pac probably gets stopped late on around the 10th.

If he wins however.... As a previous poster once said, everyone should bow to the Pacman whenever he walks in a room.

I don't think Spence will be able to keep manny from jumping in and out and landing, the speed difference will be obvious.can he do it for 12rds?..not sure now but I can see Spence really struggling early.i would love manny to do it and will be backing him but can see Spence getting a controversial points win.

Would like see pac win just for sheer fact 2 years inactive 42 years old will have a Massive height, weight disadvantage and willing take on a regarded world level p4p fighter in some peoples eyes

For this alone want him win in a era we have multiple fighters (and champions)at every level who don't fight best out there
