I ejoyed the fight because Castano dominated the always dangerous Charlo.

He got hurt multiple times, was significantly out jabbed, and lost the last 3 rounds. He landed some great shots but Charlo did well to explode on him at critical times that arguably swung some rounds for him. I thought Charlo showed a lot of grit in the late rounds, he knew he was down but pulled out those late rounds enough to get a draw. Nothing wrong with Castaño thinking he did enough, but he left it too close for comfort. In a battle for undisputed better for it to be a draw then to give all the belts to a fighter when both fighters feel like they won and everyone agrees it was very close and competitive. Castaño fought a hell of a fight and deserves a ton of credit, they each have very different styles but I tihink they meshed really well and produced fireworks. For once lets just enjoy the aftermath of an excellent fight without complaining about the judging.

It doesn't matter if he got hurt late. By the time the final bell rang Castano was comfortably ahead on any rational persons scorecards

Yeah, I'm ****ing pissed, because when fighters get robbed of the biggest wins of their careers that they so richly deserve. One should be pissed. That's the rational response, especially when it's a good guy like Brian, who's already been ****ed over with one draw.

You're right, it is too bad. You should be angrier.

Good to hear, however... I'd take more solace if you didn't feel the need to make any excuses for a puke like Charlo or to give ammunition to any of his delusional fans.

I've had the worse 2 weeks I've had in the last 3 or 4 years, with real life stuff.... so I can sympathize.

Like . . . JABS, the All Important JAB that casuals forget about. And explosive timely eye-catching power shots, sometimes late in rounds that make judges forget about what happened earlier in the round. Did Charlo legitimately WIN that 9th round? Probably not. But did he arguably STEAL the round late? After all they don't call it STEALING a round for nothin.

    He got hurt twice.

Most of the jabs were blocked or caught on his gloves.

He lost the 10th, the other 2 were damn close, the 12th could've gone either way.

Those race fans trying too hard for Charlo. He lost close fight, just accept it and move on

Despite the fact that Castano got robbed. I get a funny feeling that Charlo will stop him if they rematch

Castano won the fight. Charlo knows it ....his corner knows it. I heard Castano say he wanted a rematch. I did not hear Charlo say it. If they fight again...Castano will win by KO. ye heard it here first.

If Jermell is a legend then what does that make the guy who mopped the floor with him ?Once again, the Cash Cow gets a draw to save him from a clear loss on his record. Showtime and PBC was banking on Charlo getting the undisputed title.

He landed some hard jabs, but yes many were blocked. Castaño kept a very tight guard but credit does need to be given to Jermell for *at times* committing to the jab and working behind it to set up the right hand. I think he knew that the jab was an area of strength for him that could keep Castaño at range, with the success that Castaño had on the inside and through work rate a more consistent jab from Jermell could have really helped him avoid getting hit with those flurries. Jermell could have won this fight if he didn't get stuck on the ropes as much as he did.

Of interest is the fact that all three judges called the ninth for Castano. One judge (114-114) called the sixth for Charlo and operated on the same principle of Charlo managing to jab consistently and staying off the ropes for much of the round. Castano did better work, but that's a round that Charlo managed to steal on one card based on the work he did. And that one card was what he needed to salvage a draw.
