    I think this is a stylistically good match up. The only thing that can make them win is from pure power, chin, determination, stamina & speed. Techinique doesn't play that much role in this fight (I hope that's agreeable). So, who do you think would win ?

    Good gawd almighty. Why not have the winner face David Tua in a steel cage afterwards!?

    Common opponents are an old Holmes and Lennox Lewis.

    Very plausible. Mercer at his best was a bit more game than McCall ever was, if you know what I mean.

    I do. I can see McCall unable to Ko or hurt Ray and just lasting till the end.

    Ray's excellent jab is the key. He doesn't stop McCall but he wins a clear decision with that jab leading the way.

    I see Tua winning a decision. If he ups the ante like he did against Ike then he gets a the win.
    Same with McCall, he gets a points win imo.
    Some tough chins there lol.

    I'd go with Mercer by UD, but Ray was known to get lazy. If he comes in undertrained and unfocused McCall gets the decision.

    If it's Mercer from the Lewis fight then yes i pick him to beat McCall by decision. The styles simply don't make for an exciting fight.

    McCall could sleepwalk his way through a fight with the best of them. I suspect they’d both slow dance and Ray’s jab and slightly busier workrate would prevail.
