Canelo boiled down to 154 anyway (his advantage). Blame Canelo and his team for being overconfident in believing he could still have an advantage despite shedding 2 more pounds. Let's not act like Floyd is a big guy. Catchweights are sometimes needed for the "best" to fight the best.
I forgot, did anyone force the so called face of boxing (today) to fight Money May? NOPE.

Here are the facts:

Canelo had around 35 or more fights from welterweight to light middleweight which is 147 pounds-154 pounds before he got his head boxed off by Mayweather. Although he likely rehydrated gargantuan amounts of weight on fight night. Before he fought Mayweather he had never once fought at 160 and even less than 3 years prior to the Mayweather fight he weighed at a little over 151lb against Mathew Hatton.

Canelo fought perfectly fine when he weighed in at these low weights before he fought Mayweather.

As a matter of fact Canelo never even stepped on the scales at over 154lb before the Mayweather fight which means the difference between his light middleweight fight weigh ins compared to the catch weight of 152lb against Mayweather is about 2 pounds at the absolute most. Although he still had a significant size advantage against Mayweather and still rehydrated to 165 pounds on the night.

Canelo at this point had the WBC and the WBA titles.

Canelo was undefeated.

Canelo had 42 fights total before facing Mayweather

Canelo was young but this is very ironic considering the fact that Mayweather detractors criticize Mayweather for fighting opponents past their prime.

Canelo wasn't in his prime when he fought Mayweather and has improved significantly since then, that is objective reality. He's gotten much better. But even now it's clear Canelo still struggles with slippery fighters just like he did against Erislandy Lara and Mayweather as shown against Billy Joe Saunders where Saunders slickness and his mobility gave Canelo issues in the middle rounds and made Canelo look incredibly flat footed. Although Canelo did end up finding Saunders by slowing him down with body shots and timing his head movement. However it's clear Saunders pfp is nowhere near as good as Mayweather.

Conclusion: Claims that Canelo was weight drained, claims that Canelo was inexperienced or green, and claims that Canelo was way too young against Mayweather are ludicrous

Clenelo was drained.

Clenelo was so drained that Floyd's punches caused the most facial damage of any Clenelo opponent to date. When your body is drawn and drained, it bruises far more easily. Clenelo barely bruised against GGG, Jacobs, or anyone else.

Clenelo now can weigh in at 168/175 and look shredded and rehydrate to 180s. That's how far apart the two Clenelos are.

Lol the Canelo of today will still lose to the Floyd of the 2013 fight. He can do as much research and homework on Floyd, Floyd will always end up making the superior adjustments and being his daddy inside the ring and outside the ring. You will not find a television network telling Floyd to get the hell out of here on a $280 million deal over 4-5 years, they pay him that much for a single fight.

The Canelo that Mayweather fought was 'green' in comparison to the fighter he has gone on to become now.

He's now hit his prime and a completely different beast to the 2013 version, anyone with 2 brain cells can see that.

Canelo said he would come down to 152 to make the fight. Canelo put it out there first. Mayweather just got it penned on the contract.
That's like me saying I'll pay BCS8 $1000.00 to shine my shoes, then blame you for over charging me when I can't pay my other bills. BCS8 is not the one to blame in this situation.
