Get ready to be shocked if and when this happens. I am not saying Plant wins but I do know he is a live underdog in this one.

    I don't know.
However if he was walking boxing bag, I think Clenelo had agreed to beat him for 1 buck to become an undisputed and to get damn big hype as UNDISPUTED champion at 168 lbs.
Then later he might even double or triple his earnings for next fights as superhero etc racing horse.

Plant is fast and has decent power but that is not enough to beat Canelo, and everybody knows it. The odds on this one will be interesting.

Watching this now and just finished the 3rd round. What a ****ing fight!
 ****ers going from 0-100 real fast.

    Round 1 - Castano
    Round 2 - Charlo
    Round 3 - Castano

He absolutely stole that round. And unlike Charlo in the second round, Castano actually landed some of his follow-up shots after hurting Charlo. I said it before the fight, that Charlo would be missing a lot of punches. He is very focused on his power and ends up telegraphing his shots.
    Round 4 - Castano
Castano beautifully cutting off the ring and punishing Charlo in the corners. But overall, Charlo showed great defense when he wasn´t cornered.
    Round 5 - Castano
    Round 6 - Charlo
Close round, and the most even of the fight. But I think Charlo did a bit more.
    Round 7 - Castano
Another really close round but I though Charlo was doing the better work until the last minute. He again got caught on the ropes and Castano was able to land his combinations.
    Round 8 - Castano
The most one sided round of the fight thus far. All Castano as Charlo was visibly stunned twice.
    Round 9 - Castano
    Round 10 - Charlo
What a round for Charlo! Arguably 10-8. **** it, 10-8 in my books! Castano did the stanky leg on 3 occasions. I am amazed he stood up as he was on ice the entire round.
    Round 11 - Castano
First minute? All Charlo. But then Castano takes completely over until the closing frame. Charlo pushes the action and lands a few clean shots, but Castano´s defense is just class!
    Round 12 - Charlo
Heck of a finish! And a great ****ing fight!

I have it 8-4, Castano. No ****ing way did Jermell win 6 rounds. That is just ridiculous. And giving him 5 would be really generous.
And this was absolutely a robbery. Why? Because Nelson Vazquez somehow scored it 117-111 for Jermell ****ing Charlo.
Castano won only 3 rounds? No. No ****ing way.
It was Nelson who was drunk when watching this, not the fans.

Charlo´s biggest mistake was him settling on the ropes. Getting cornered is one thing, it happens. But Charlo won´t always be looking to get away from that position. Once he gets trapped in a corner, or pushed to the ropes, he will accept it and stand his ground there. Castano did most of his best work there.

What was interesting is that for the most part, Charlo did well in the opening 2 minutes of each round. Usually with a minute to go, it was when Castano would land most of his shots. Or at least his best shots.

Also! Castano is one slick mofo. Dudes defense is legit. He picks off a lot of shots.

This was a real shame. Castaño deserves a place in the history books after a close but clear win.

Then have a rematch if you must, rob him on the second fight if you really have to, but give the guy his moment in the sun.

The only thing is it looked like he can really hurt Charlo and if that's true he can do it again.
