This is a very good assertion...but Ali was under that against Liston and others in the 60s, and I can't see Mike beating him.

Holmes was right around 210 from the Norton fight right around the Ali fight, and I don't think Mike could have taken him, either.

But that's just my opinion, my friend. I do think in general that's a bit light for prime Iron Mike.

QI, both Ali and Holmes jabbed and moved more that Holy did at heavy in the late 80`s.

Add Beterbiev in there. Vs Marciano would be a huge scrap. Marciano's leaky defense means would feel his power but you can't outwork or stop Rocky.

Joe Smith, Jr. might put him thru the canvas.

Tyson was always mentally fragile. Holyfield absolutely owned him and would have at any point.

You might need to make sure you know what fighters were 210 and under Mark.

I'm not saying these all beat him but Holmes was 210 for the Shavers rematch, Frazier was under that in TFOTC, Liston was making 210 around his peak, Ali was making 210 not far from exile, Joe Louis at his peak was under, Holyfield was basically bang on that when he beat Douglas, Holmes and Foreman.

I think it's fair to assume he doesn't beat all that lot.

No way, Holy was not an elite heavy in his early heavyweight fights, he looked really sloppy, like a brawler.

Douglas quit v Holy after not much happening, he was in dreadful shape and Holy looked bad v Foreman and Holmes neither of those two 40 year olds were anything near a prime Tyson when they fought Holy.

I feel Tyson was far more skilled than Holy.

You know how they say that boxing is 90 percent mental and 10 percent physical?

Holyfield is mentally stronger than Tyson. He bullied the bully.

Let’s look at them vs. a common opponent. Holyfield was still in his heavyweight infancy when he knocked Buster Douglas out easily.

Tyson was still a young man in his physical prime (and less than 2 years removed from unifying the heavyweight title) when Buster Douglas beat him like a rented mule.

I think Holyfield looks like much the better fighter.

How do you feel the right hand that Holy floored Buster with compares to the right hand that Tyson first floored Holmes with in their match-up? Tucker stopped Douglas ansd Tyson beat Tucker in that same year going with your logic.

Holy struggled with Stewart in their first bout against each other, butr beat him far more convincingly in their rematch however Tyson stopped Stewart in the 1st round.

And Evander fought Tyson TWICE and ended him TWICE.

Knocked him out once, made him quit once.

    End of discussion.
