joyce is working himself up to mediocre right now, thats how skilled he is. the hw scene has been trash for years, as far as top talent goes. so him beating c level fighters in this era, really dont mean much. he is so bad, that i believe someone would step in and stop aj from just beating him into a grease stain. now if im wrong, remind me when it happens. but if im right, remind me anyway. not commenting on hm as a person, but as a fighter in the top ranks of fighters.
he is definitely fun to watch, i enjoy it myself, but i cant help but notice his shortcomings and what they will mean when he gets in there with a solid experienced pro competing at the highest level. it wont be pretty.

You can’t make this **** up. So, let me get this straight. Joshua is fighting Usyk who has already proven to be better than the limited Joyce. But some how, AJ is ducking the less experienced and talented fighter. Right, got it. Joyce is still Takam level…let that sink in for a second. Joyce doesn’t even make the top 5 on Joshua’s resume. No one is ducking Joyce. And that’s coming from a very critical fan of AJ and one who cheered Joyce to beat DD.
I guess we'll see if Joyce is Takam level this weekend when they face off. I suspect he's a level above Takam myself. The rest of your post I agree with. The lengths some people go to, to tear down AJ is ludicrous. He has the best resume in the division, never ducked a mandatory like some, yet every time he faces anyone decent he's ducking them and negotiations are a sham to disguise the duck, lol. So far Joshua has ducked, Wlad, Parker, Povetkin, Whyte despite fighting them all, and he's even been accused of ducking Ortiz despite Ortiz turning down $7 mill which is probably more than he's earned during his entire career. Now Joyce is the next one AJ haters are hoping he will duck, fricken bonkers.
They hate AJ. He's tall, good looking, the ladies love him, he has most of the belts, sells put soccer stadiums, he's everything a lot of these guys wish they could be. So they hate him and instead rout for guys like Ruiz, Wilder and Fury. It will never make sense. And AJ will only start to get his props after he retires and guys get over themselves.
i recall some of the same when lennox was king. now everyone pretty much gives him his due. i expect similar with aj. i dont believe aj is near as good as lennox was, but hes certainly much better than his detractors make him out to be.
That's one of the few top guys at heavyweight I'd really favour Joyce to totally batter. Very easy to find with power shots and guaranteed to gas out early no matter what sort of pace you're fighting at. At Joyce's pace he'd be done for in no time.
