The difference with delboy and joshua is that Del comes to fight, he doesn't care and he doesn't gas badly like Joshua. You will never see Joshua going all out like Chisora does, he would have done himself by 4. I see a late stoppage for Usyk for them reasons, because the minute Joshua attempts to put it on him and it doesn't work, he is chasing after that..
Out of curiosity, if Usyk won would an undisputed fight trump a rematch clause like it does mandatories with the governing bodies?
If Usyk has a decent chin that can take an average Tony Dosh PPV punch, he only needs to land a single mediocre power punch to get the BLM Speaker walking on stilts. Could be a long night for the man with no stamina and no heart when the going gets tough.

If we are honest it’s highly unlikely that Usyk gets a decision unless he’s incredibly dominant so a KO win is a must. If Usyk did KO Joshua however I doubt there would be an immediate rematch so that would leave the door open to a fight with Fury/Wilder for the undisputed by default. So long as the governing bodies get paid they don’t seem to have any issues bending the rules.
I'm a big fan of Fury and have never really warmed to Joshua, but I have to give both Hearn and Joshua credit here. They're fighting a top opponent, in the UK and with a full crowd. Far better for the fans than Fury/his team preventing two quality fights happening this year and only fighting in Vegas. I think this is potentially Joshua's hardest fight, definitely his hardest since Klitschko. I thought he'd win the Ruiz rematch despite the pressure on that fight. Really looking forward to this one.
Agree with all that. I don't mind AJ, he's harmless enough and keeps himself to himself. I see either a tight (and maybe controversial) AJ points decision or a late Usyk stoppage.
I’ve definitely seen Del Boy gas a few times - he doesn’t stop coming forward but he’s breathing out of his arse regularly but his fighter instincts means he normally pushes on, but he is by no means a lean mean fighting machine! Size matters in boxing a lot more than people think it does. If someone heavier than you leans on you, even for a round or two, you really feel it and it’s like being beaten up without any punches being thrown. I don’t think Usyk carries enough power to really dent Joshua either - I really thought he did but he just can’t compete with these super heavies when it comes to physicality. I really rate Usyk and really like him, but as a heavyweight I just don’t think he’s got that extra gear. I think Fury and Arum would throw the chequebook at getting the Usyk fight first if that was the case.
I find Joshua quite boring and his media image far too manufactured. There's also all the stuff that's been swept under the carpet. That said, I find Fury's personality far more annoying than I used to. Previously I'd given him a pass as he's an eccentric but he and his team have really sabotaged the division. I was really looking forward to the Joshua (and then Wilder) fights. I appreciate lots of this is out of his hands and is mostly the fault of his handlers.. but the Covid thing was clearly a lie. I don't think Fury is quite right - I would not be shocked if he retires actually. I think Paris Fury really wants him to.
The only one he does run is his snapchat (where incidentally he's slipped up once or twice but not for a few years). Full credit to him for taking on Usyk though, this'll be a tricky fight. Usyk has something very special about him and always raises his game in the biggest fights - intriguing fight.
Think the size and power of Joshua will tell. Think it's the most exciting fight on paper in the division.
No chance. As for sabotaging the division - well, he's certainly become a hypocrite in several ways and hasn't helped. I like to see 50-50 bouts and at least Fury has been in a respectable number of close bouts relative to his own level at any given point in time, and of course he dethroned Klitschko and Wilder away from home when not many were giving him a chance. That's more than can be said for Joshua who has consistently been thrown in against overmatched opposition on home cards where the marketing department and home officiating have had to work harder than he has had to in the ring. For pure entertainment, Usyk beating both Joshua and Fury would be my preferred outcome. It would throw the division and the whole "pound for pound" (nonsense) into a state of flux. I agree that Usyk is special - I am just concerned that we see a dud bout. Another Joshua Klitschko war would be perfect. If Usyk can beat Joshua, he has a great chance against Fury who I do not think wants any part of him.
