Yep, Fury is my favourite HW but I'm just frustrated with his his last 18 months has gone. Some of it can't be helped (arbitration, ESPN perhaps not wanting to fund a fight with Takan/Kabayal as part of his deal). It's just a shame he's been pretty poorly managed by Arum & Co.

Lots can be said about Hearn but generally he looks after his fighters. He's steered Joshua's career very well and has even made the likes of Whyte and Chisora regular PPV fighters. He would never go to MR to play second fiddle to Joshua, but I think Hearn promoting Fury in an alternate reality would've been fascinating.

Joshua via KO or Points. Usyk isn't big or strong enough.

An interesting scenario is if he went to Matchroom and beat Joshua. I wonder how things would have panned out thereafter. I'm not bothered about the commercial side of boxing from an entertainment perspective (some people get so caught up in it), but the implications for Joshua would have made for a fascinating case study.

Would having even more tattoos, losing a few inches in height, and gaining 50 pounds of fat and water help his cause?

I liked Fury pre-comeback but he does my head in these days. Full of contradictions and lies. Everything he used to claim to hate he's become himself and more.

Don't really care for Joshua one way or the other. Only 2 heavyweights I 'like' are Joe Joyce and Usyk.

Can’t see that this fight is showing on the ZONE anywhere. Thought big josh was a the zone fighter now, must have missed the MEMO.

If sky allowed ppv buys without a subscription I’d pay for this fight, as it is I’ll watch down my local angling club again.

You've been able to buy Sky PPV's without a sky subscription for ages. Obviously you won't have a sky box, and instead have to register and download the app on a suitable device.

Fury is now the biggest hypocrite and contradiction in boxing, becoming EVERYTHING he has slaughtered others for. He’s actually become boring now.

If usyk starts really fast and makes joshua work for every second of each round then he gets to him late with his superior speed and stamina taking over in the championship rounds.

I think this could be a fight where Joshua's lack of boxing skills are exposed. Joshua needs to try and blast him out early otherwise I can see usyk start racking up the rounds after about round 4 or 5

Joshua will probably think he can out box usyk with his new style which worked against a fridge in Ruiz and old man pulev but if it becomes a boxing match joshua could be made to look a bit silly, I think if joshua decides to blast him out early he can do just that, he needs to make the power and weight difference count.

Usyk does seem to have that x factor aura about him though and having never tasted defeat this is going to show us exactly where joshua is in terms of boxing skills because however much people cream about his resume , go through it since the whyte fight and not a single opponent apart from possibly parker have been in their prime.

This is going to show us whether joshua is truly elite imo and this is without doubt his hardest fight. Usyk is probably one of the best cruiserweights of all time let alone of this era.

A great fight to look forward to and 2 fighters that actually want to fight, fury and wilder are just a but of a circus atm and I am a huge fury fan but the guy has probably been managed as bad as anybody i can remember, his career has been shambolic and he still is a 2 time world champion.

Cant see the undisputed fight taking place and I cant see fury fighting this year, retirement and dropping the belt early next year more likely.

I would be inclined to agree with you, though I think if Joshua puts the pressure on even if it’s ineffective it will score points (rightly or wrongly) with the judges. It’s tough to see Usyk walking away with a close decision - it would need to be a masterclass.

For Usyk to set out to outbox Joshua would be an unrealistic and defeatist attitude - because he will know that he won't be awarded a decision.

He has to go for the knockout.

I hope he doesn't do a Paint Dry Parker and put in a stinker. Yes, the referee was bad, but that probably worked in Paint Dry's favour. He had no ambition.

Hard to have ambition when the ref takes you skill set away from you.

What skillset do you speak of?

I can think of a lot of former world champions that wouldn't have stood for that. A boxing match is not tiddlywinks, it's a fight.
