Shevchuk looks like he just came out of a local bar.

I wonder if he realizes that far more fans know him by that name than Zagorsky, internationally/on the internet.

Well, he probably was a short-notice call-up, as he missed weight by 1¼lbs.

But yeah, not an intimidating physique whatsoever. Scrawny/flabby, and with the face of a middle aged dock worker.

How much jab would a Shevchuk eat if a Shevchuk could eat jab?

(A: roughly ninety percent of what Dzukaev feels like feeding him)

Body shot, and that'll do it.

Actually that was a jab - making this a rare case of someone being JTFO downstairs!

    KO1!!!

Well, when after WBSS final Gassiev was inactive for long time till get lost ranking in boxing orgs and had been marked as inactive in boxrec too, then why not?
Now he had 1 fight and is marked as active and ranked somewhere, then next fight, then next fight after this. Ofc previous achievements and fights will play role in ranking I think.
He really needs at least some 3-4 tune up fights, 1 he already had, at least isn't inactive. Next fight, then next fight.

Otherwise today doesn't looks that TODAY top 25 ranked boxers are interested to fight with him and doesn't looks that today he might generate enough good money for such opponents purses too.

Will see later, is his comeback successful or isn't.

05:55 - "The fight with Seferi did not give me anything. But the main thing is that I entered the ring."
    06:35 - Battle of views
06:59 - Gassieva is comfortable with such a schedule - one fight in 9 months?
07:21 - How much Murat weighs now and how much he weighed as much as possible

08:08 - If they offer a fight with Usik - Gassiev will not refuse

A whole like all to yourselves

    Just think about that

Nikitin, for anyone unfamiliar, is a Russian amateur boxing legend, although perhaps most famous abroad for defeating Mick Conlan of Ireland very controversially at the Olympics in 2016 (bronze medal).

...like, Joshua vs. Savón level controversy; almost everyone but diehard apologists for Team Russia thought Conlan beat Nikitin.

Conlan avenged the defeat in 2019, handing Nikitin his first pro loss. Since then, Nikitin has picked up yet another blemish, a draw with an unheralded Kazakh last time out.

37 year old Azeri journeyman Rauf "The Lion" Aghayev should give him rounds but is a safe cherry-picked W on paper.

He was a very good amateur but like Paddy Barnes, doesn't seem to have a style suited to the pros at all.
