Wonder if it’ll be on Crawford’s scheduled October date? Hope so, some no hoper was being lined up for that. No one has it easy with Porter. Look at the fight he gave a pre accident Spence.
About time Crawford fought someone decent at 147. Struggled at times against Kavaliauskas and got dropped so think Porter definitely has a chance but will probably just come up short on points.
Hopefully it is October,interesting situation with it being mandated..lets see who really wants it?..I'd 100% take Crawford by beatdown and possible stoppage imo.
Honestley don't see it happening but Crawford would beat up Porter imo. Crawford is nasty with a ridiculous skill set and would time and hurt porter from round 3 or 4 onwards and maybe get a stoppage. It will take an extremely skilled boxer to beat Crawford, one who can make adjustments through the fight. Porters style won't work. Gamboa had success early on but Crawford figured him out and hurt him then started taking the fight to him. Gamboa couldn't readjust really and got stopped badly
Going against the general trend here and pick Porter to win.However as he is one of my favourite fighters it may be wishful thinking
Never an easy fight with porter, but he is the type of fighter that will rapidly decline with age due to his style. But until that happens he is such a handful for any fighter. I think josh taylor v porter would be an all out war and great fight to watch
Crawford gets a lot of (some of which deserved) stick but he’s top top quality. I can’t see Porter any others at the weight bearing him.
After a diet of Horn, Khan, Kava, let’s just be glad that the wbo beltholder, is at least fighting a legit opponent, correction, at least fighting, at last!
Love watching Shawn Porter, big admirer of him over the years. I think it's worth pointing out that he's not stopped anyone since Berto in 2017. I believe he's outgrown the weight and it clearly affects his power. He's shown that he can adapt and box a bit when he has to, he's got more strings to his bow than just the marauding, swarming style. Then you've got Crawford who is elite, he really is a very special fighter. Is inactivity and unwillingness to call out Spence winds me up though. I don't believe this goes the distance and Crawford will go through the gears and make it look easy.

A Porter upset would only be a mild upset as my pick would be a Crawford decision, close but not controversial. Would love to see Porter make him uncomfortable.
