Idk, I love Pacman but I didn’t think he was going to beat Thurman the way he did, at his age and after that many battles it was impressive. Space looks like he recovered well from his accident but who knows. I feel this is a 60-40 fight to Spence, I doubt a ass beating will happen and if this was against a prime Pac it would be a 90-10 fight to Pac.

Small chance but I hope Pac pulls it off!

Yeah beating Gvozdyk in the manner he beat him was really impressive and, like Usyk and Josh Taylor, he could've easily unified all the belts within 18 or under 20 fights if not for bad luck, inactivity and injury and I would've backed him strongly to do so. Bivol is a serious talent too though and that's still a very intriguing match up. But Beterbiev really should've turned over four years earlier because all these little hiccups he's had along the way wouldn't have been half as damaging to his career.

    Pacman is old.
Both, Crawford and Spence are very large for 147 lbs division while Pacman once looks that even did not had weighted more than 142 lbs when weighted in for 147 lbs division fight. This does matters a lot.
Usually boxers at 147 lbs are 146-146.9 lbs in weight ins. Pacman is small for 147 lbs and he is old. 42?
    Old, ring rusty legend.

come on, man. beve looks like he has an iron face and his opponents got gloves stuffed with magnets. nobody has ever hit spence as much as everyone hits beve. you are in bizarro land.

you can do that with an iron face. cause gvozdyk hit him in the head at will.

i remember that rbr very well, as everyone here talking about how great he is, had picked, and were cheering for gvozdyk. cause that dude was hyped to heaven himself. pull up the rbr and see whos tune still sounds the same. cause my tune has never changed

You're right about this. Gvodyk was hyped round here for ages and tbf he did have the goods. I myself picked Gvodzyk to beat Beterbiev and was surprised at the class Beterbiev showed in that fight.

yes, and you probably couldnt believe how beve could stand up to all the shots he was eating, thats what was impressive. spence has never even come close to being hit that much by anybody...in his life. just 2 different levels of fighters. yes, beve is one hell of a physical specimen, but he is not top level in skills. there are a few things he does very well, like wilder does, but overall, he is not as skilled as his best opponents. i mean as a complete well rounded fighter. you cant even compare him to what spence can do, and has done, and will do again. you just cant.

I do think Beve is quite good at smothering punches, and it suits his style as an incredibly aggressive slugger, but that's not the same as traditional 'defence'. Spence is definitely more classically skilled and its pretty obvious imo. Still, Beve is incredibly effective and there's no need for him to change at all.

he wouldnt be as effective if he did change. his strength is so effective because of how it overwhelms you. he throws a bomb at you, and when you counter, instead of ducking, hes thrown a bigger bomb at you. and your counter might have mussed his hair, but no way to tell. that **** gets real scary real quick.

Gvozdyk was hyped for a reason: he was a bit more close boxer to Subriel Matias than imaginable classic EE amateur boxer while he still was able to box.
He was large for LHW, strong, damaging and heavy handed boxer who loved to box like a boxer not head hunter or even puncher.
Mabye more like boxer but with power.

Beterbiev too then was avoided fighter in pro ranks, with long mileage in am ranks under belt, heavy handed.
He too had 1 punch KO power but looks that picked style " gradual damage " to use. Bet was proven elite level am before turned into a pro.

Bet looks that knew that he can't outbox Gvozdyk and get to accumulate damage to win via stoppage. Now he is old ofc.

Manny is indeed old. He's positively geriatric but he actually weighs anywhere from 148-152 max up at 147 albeit Crawford was coming in as high as 153 when he was down at 135, 157 at 140, and he's obviously coming in at an absolute bare minimum of 162 now. The highest recorded weight of Spence's I'm aware of is 162 IIRC.
