    Joyce wins by TKO.

A bit premature i think and considering the fact Takam was leading on any reasonable scorecard he should have got a chance to fight back but in the end it was an inevitable outcome. Takam was gassing hard. Joyce would have beaten the living crap out of him in the next few rounds and Takam is old so he deserves some protection.

    Round 1 Joyce 10-9
    Round 2 Joyce 10-9
    Round 3 Joyce 10-9
    Round 4 Joyce 10-9
    Round 5 Joyce 10-9
Round 6 Joyce wins by TKO

Joyce rocks him badly wit a left hook at the bell, Joyce leaps on him, unloads with a barrage of shots. Pace slows, Joyce cracks him with another hook, he's staggered again, wobbles back towards the ropes, the ref leaps in and waves it, correctly.

Takam was staggering around like a drunk. Didn't hold, didn't throw back.

Damn, gotta add great finishing skills too. Hit Takam with like 50 unanswered shots. Joyce's stamina and punch output is excellent for a big man.

    “Saved” is a bit OTT.

Was a premature stoppage but writing was on the wall.

And that’s that. I have no issues with that stoppage either, he had probably taken 10-15 shots without offering back. At the end of the day, it’s much more damaging to take an accumulation of shots rather than a one shot KO.

The blueprint to beat Joyce is clearly swing over the top and don’t get tired. Either that or hit him extremely extremely hard. Fury would do the former and Joshua probably the latter.

Quite a range of differing opinions regarding scores as of the stoppage. :dunno From a Joyce shutout all the way to a Takam shutout.
