No,no that Foreman is as overrated as Lewis.

 

I'm a pretty big Foreman fan. He may not have the boxing skills of Lewis but hes more confident stronger willed much much much better chin and hits harder IMO. I'm frankly just not a Lewis fan. Hes a great fighter but just lacks certain traits for me

 

Foreman had a strong will not doubt and was a brute. Lennox was… in my opinion an opportunist whom was good enough but just a decently skilled guy with a lot of size.

You can pick his resume almost clean of any really great wins- Bar who Vitali? Who was no great (IMO) The rest is mostly good management.

 

I would call that no fault of his own though. Everyone avoided him. He probably would have beat Bowe. holy and Tyson earlier had they fought him earlier.

 

Well, they were both champions, which adds credence. Though I think alphabet belt champs is what some would argue (not entirely convinced how "bad" that designation is, considering Holmes was an alphabet champ and ruled the division for nearly 7 years).

 

Rahman was lineal. McCall beat two ATG heavies and a handful of men who would hold titles or had held titles.

Opposite day ?

A guy who could use the Foreman route or the Ali route to win has the worst matchup against Joe Frazier. 30 to 40 lb bigger than him. Ok.

 

Styles makes fights and this match up doesn't look good for Frazier.

Lewis struggles vs guys with good jabs, big right hands, that's not Frazier, Lewis tended to dominate smaller left hookers.

Lewis lead hand control would be key, much how Foreman used his strength to push, lean, manipulate Frazier maneuvering him into vulnerable positions and forcing him to reset Lewis would do the same with the lead hand which is part of the Kronk style, Hearns and Wlad did the same, Fury also used these techniques vs Wilder. I just can't see how Frazier deals with being posted, collar tied, pushed and leaned on.

Then you have Lewis' uppercut. I see Lewis pushing Frazier down with his left then connecting with the uppercut. Lewis KO's him inside 6 rds, even the FOC Frazier.

 

Eh..Mathis would probably beat both of them.
