You do realise aj beat Parker easy as **** without getting out of second gear don't you? Edit.. Accidentally bypassed swear filter, didn't mean to.. Lol
Yeah but he didn't walk through him. It's arguable that the reason Aj had no trouble was because the referee kept splitting them apart when Parker tried to get on the inside.
Usyk knows he isn't winning on the scorecards so he'll try & finish AJ inside the distance like pudding Ruiz did in the first fight!
I agree, Usyk has a glass chin. AJ will destroy him, he will KO Usyk in round 5 at latest. Usyk was pathetic against Chisora, even he himself scored his performance against Chisora 3/10. He won't survive AJ's power.
Doesn't have a glass chin but doesnt hit hard enough whilst he's busy running around the ring. AJ stops him.
True. Problem is you don't need a glass chin to get knocked down or out by a guy significantly heavier than you, especially if you're at a disadvantage in reach and can't avoid getting into range. Gassiev might hit harder P4P, but Joshua will absolutely hit harder in am objective sense and that's what Usyk will need to contend with - he may have gained a little punch resistance from his bulk up, but he's also giving away a bunch of weight to AJ that he wasn't to Gassiev. I think Usyk has a chance if he can box perfectly and get a decision - it'll need to be clear, and that'd be a serious achievement, but if he can do that I don't think he'll get robbed. What's more likely IMHO is a close fight which many on here and elsewhere feel should go to Usyk but close rounds will go to Joshua as the champ (as usually happens) and what should perhaps be a close Usyk win will become a close Joshua win - it'll be called a robbery by the many that just can't stand or don't rate AJ, but I don't think we'll see a clear robbery of anything like Fury-Wilder I level
AJ problem is that he knows his chin is weak. This prevents him from going at usyk like a young foreman. Del boy has a better chin and is nuts this allowed him to really push Usyk hard ! . AJ will try and out box Usyk at distance .could get interesting !!
I highly doubt it, and if he does it would arguably be the most impressive win of his career so far. He outlanded Chisora in 9 of 12 rounds, and had him hurt at one point. Thats the same Chisora that had two very competitive fights with Whyte (first one could have gone either way on the scorecards and the 2nd was going the same way until the late KO) and was just straight up robbed vs Parker.
vs these : Gassiev and Briedis Usyk was in prime shape, younger and more moblie. He outworked Gassiev with his experience, work rate and agility, speed : didn't allowed him to set up properly. Vs Briedis he didn't had fall in his ( Briedis ) casual traps and properly had used fact that Briedis hates movers who are sharp and agile & with very good jabs. These both didn't had tested Usyk's chin porperly. Now Usyk is over the hill for sure, still ha will be more mobile than Parker, not alone to compare this with Pulev. Will get with almost 0 doubts. Pro boxing is business, A.J is huge Brand from proper country. Usyk had performed vs Chisora better than Parker while I had predicted that Parker will beat Chisora more impressively than Usyk. 1 st fight Chisora vs Whyte I had scored for Chisora. Chisora vs Usyk I had scored 3 rounds for Chisora and 1 as a draw, then he had started to gas out and lost rounds in row.
If Usyk was as hopeless as you claim then would Hearn have died on a hill to ensure the rematch clause was included in the contract? It definitely seems like AJs own promoter isn’t as confident as the OP is in winning this fight. That speaks volumes. AJ being big, clumsy and stiff struggles against movers and southpaws. Hence the reason why he so rarely fights this type of opponent. Doh
