Not really. Then again, you could argue a good win would raise his profile and potentially earnings (even if it doesn't improve his split in a mandatory fight, if he brings more attention in then his share is of a larger pie). In that sense, too, Chisora makes some sense - he's popular with UK fans, even if he's just a gatekeeper, and would probably raise Joyce profile more than some top ten fighters would.
Is Parker really promoted by Matchroom? I think he is promoted by Dave Higgins though they have done joint promotions with Matchroom.
Doesn't matter. He is enough well known, good google search results etc and this since fights vs Vitali and Haye. Long years. Maybe he now should agree with xxx xxx digits purses, doesn't looks that he will headline ppv fights as main event fighter. Like this.
A fight with Chisora would have no sense for Joyce. Or better the only sense would be money. Though...he would win easily imo because Joyce would handle the fight better than Usyk did. Chisora's gas tank after the five/six rounds is getting more and more suspect. The point Is he's 35yo and needs a title shot soon.
Doesn't looks that he will get this this year and in beginning of next year. Fury and Wilder looks that are tied up. Other belts does have A.J? who will fight vs Usyk and ofc all these fights will have clauses etc things most likely.
Joyce would stop Chisora late. Unlike Parker, he won't let Chisora off the hook and will get stronger as the fight progresses, before the ref jumps in to save Chisora.
The Chisora that fought Parker (and should’ve got the nod) would be trouble for anyone. I like Joyce, good chin and great engine….but very hittable. Interesting one
I know that Hrgovic is not ranked as high as Joyce and that Joyce wants bigger challenges, but still I think this fight would be great, two undefeated heavyweights that have already met, but would that fight be worth the risk?
