I think that it was and it wasn't. The referee was a joke (£) and Parker had no response. He should have met referee's dodginess with aggression and should have thrown caution to the wind. His attempts to get on the inside were half-hearted and crap, anyway. The whole bout was a farce. Parker, referee and Joshua were all pathetic. And this is one of these lauded "top 10" wins for Joshua. When you scratch beneath the surface, how can this farce of a "contest" be used to bolster somebody's record as impressive? It was a joke.
Will it? Usyk giving a respectable performance with a few tricky moments for Joshua but ultimately getting KO'd by the bigger and more powerful man is a fairly realistic prediction. That wouldn't end the "hype", it would just show that he wasn't quite big/powerful enough to beat one of the top super heavyweights. The only way the "hype" will "end" is if he is easily KO'd in a couple of rounds whilst looking completely outclassed. I can't see that happening personally.
What would the view be like in the lower tiers on the sides at spurs stadium? Its not as big as Wembley and is closer to the pitch. I've been to plenty arenas to watch boxing but never a stadium. Its something that I have never fancied, but added incentive for me it's a new ground.
Okolie vs Prasovic likely to be on the undercard. Anyone seen Prasovic fight? Looking at his record he is an undefeated fighter with padded record against very poor opposition.
All this talk about putting him in with Breidis but instead he is fighting a serbian bricklayer. “Less talk, more action” - Eddie Earn
Just go. World title fight, a few beers and a bit of this and a bit of that. You most likely won't regret it.
Just like he might grow into his teeth, one day Okolie might fight someone who is genuinely top level.
To be honest the amount it costs and what you see isn't worth it imo. You'll end up just watching the big screen anyway.
