Hey, Wilders fans! After Fury knocks your favorite fighter out again which other boxer will you cheer on? Always Wilder? What other excuses will you invent?
We will see who is laughing when Wilder brutally knocks Fury out and becomes a two-time heavyweight champion!
Wilder stans were extremely annoying while they existed but Fury stans have been clearly outdoing em recently. Do yourself a favor and watch Ioka vs Tanaka, it will be a treat for your eyes after watching so many hours of uncoordinated mess that heavyweight division currently is.
Probably, if the fight had happened in July because Fury was clearly not in shape. Though... the last time with Fury in perfect shape Wilder had an ear drum busted and a skull dent. The next could be even worse.
Yeah maybe, he dug his own hole... As long as people don't start underestimating him then it's all good.
You mean man fans ? WIlder, AJ and Canelo have biggest man fan army in the boxing right now. I wonder why people blindly follow them.
Yep Wilder’s delusions was horrible but at least he’s been quiet and we don’t have to hear it everyday. Fury on the other hand went from being applauded to having everyone frown in disgust when they hear his name. Since February the boxing world has been annoyed between Fury strange antics and Eddie Hearn’s weekly announcements of an potential announcement of fights.
Provided Fury beats him again they'll just say Wilder is past it and Fury intentionally let Wilder age by delaying the fight or something like that. They'll also be claiming glovegate.....again....LOL
The whole "two-time", "three-time" and so on, thing in boxing, is a bit stupid. Surely it can only be impressive if you remain undefeated and lose the "titles" by other means. It is said that a four-time champion is more impressive than a one-time, despite the fact that the one-time guy could be far more successful. It's an arbitrary award, especially in this context.
Fury isn't that much better although there is a sizable gap in iq. He is frustrating to be a fun of especially now. The spartan didn't sign the Aj fight contract because the money wasn't guaranteed but he doesn't care about the money right ? lol I've been saying this for a while now but Fury ain't 100% confident he can beat Joshua because if he was he was then he would have been hunting the cashcow down like he did Klitschko and Wilder and the fight would have been made. The fact that the bodybuilder would give him a bigger payday than both makes it even more apparent. Maybe if both get passed their next fights then Fury will fight him. We'll see. Hope Fury doesn't retire before then(LOL)
Agreed. Having one long reign is better than a bunch of short ones. But people lose sight of that. Now it's just about counting how many times you can win titles and forgetting about or ignoring all the times you lose them. If you don't lose your title for a long time, the story becomes you must've been fighting bums. Muhammad Ali lost to the unranked (by Ring) eight-fight pro Leon Spinks, and regained the title. Everyone cheered. Said how awesome it was that he was a three-time champ. But, to me, even as a kid, it clearly would've been better if Ali never lost to a seven-win novice at all. Anthony Joshua lost to the unranked (by Ring) late sub Andy Ruiz. Then he regained the belts in the rematch. Now people brag that Joshua beat "the great" Andy Ruiz, when he should've just finished Ruiz in the third when he had him down in fight one. To me, just knocking out Ruiz in three would've been better than LOSING to him to begin with. BY FAR, it would've been better. But apparently, I'm in the minority on that. By comparison, people complain about Wilder's early challengers and how many didn't appear in the Ring ratings (but were rated by the WBC). Yet, if Wilder had lost to some guy who wasn't rated by Ring, like Arreola, and won the return ... would people think regaining the title, becoming a two-time champ and Wilder having another "champion" on his record was better than simply beating a guy he should've beaten the first time? Apparently so. I don't. But I guess that's the way things are viewed now. So, while I think it would've been MUCH better if Wilder beat Fury in their rematch, instead of losing to him (clearly) ... Apparently, since Wilder lost to Fury, if Wilder regains the belt against Fury, EVERYONE will see it as a great accomplishment. Because that's the way it is with every other champ who loses and regains his belts. Right Board? Those are the rules now, right? LOL.
