Canelo's demands for Caleb Plant fight explained...

He still agreed to that term you muppet, he's just pointing out how shady Canelo's negotiation tactics are.

 

But he agreed to the term, so what the hell are you complaining about? Plant is just rightly pointing out all the advantages Canelo wants over him.

I actually don't; I just read between the lines because at those terms there should be no way Canelo doesn't want the easy meal that is Caleb Plant, who himself had no issues with the terms. That means someone else wanted something, and the only 'someone else' is Uncle Al and the PBC. Now, maybe what they wanted was completely reasonable and more diva behavior from Canelo (especially given how suspiciously ready they were for a Bivol fight on now only a 4-week training camp) but the only way this fight gets stopped is if someone looked at Canelo and said, "Okay, this or that point is unacceptable."

 

Why should Plant wait, forever potentially, when Clenelo doesn't have to?

 

Because 10 million is much more than 750K.

 

What else is Plant going to do?

What, are there three or four BIG fights he's got lined up that are all screwed up if Canelo causes a delay? (LOL)

He only fights once a year ... and he already did that. Or did you already forget the thrilling showdown with Caleb Truax? (LOL)

Plant agreed to everything, he was just pointing out that he thought some of the stipulations were over the top. The fight broke down after Plant had agreed to everything and PBC itself (Al Haymon) was negotiating with Canelo’s team. So if you want to blame the fight not happening on someone, it’s more than likely Haymon.
