September 18, if that’s still the date, is 7 weeks from tomorrow

Bivol is a small LHW. He has stated on the record that 168 would not be an issue for him, so let's make the fight.

Except it's not 6 weeks of training camp. It's 6 weeks until the fight itself. I don't know where he's based but assuming he'd have to isolate and the last week is media and light workouts, he's left with 3-4 weeks.

I'm guessing he's been training in anticipation that this could happen so I think he should take it, but shitty move from Canelo's camp.

Canelo should really stop with this **** it's happening way to much to be a coincidence

stop with what? wtf do you see here that needs to stop? offering someone else a fight when the one you are pursuing falls through? what you really mean, is that fighters need to stop accepting fights that will leave the newbs and casuals crying when they get their ass kicked, in a fight they are ecstatic to take, right up to the point that the ass kicking begins. thats what you really mean.

Doesn't matter if it's enough or not

That's a lot of time by Canelo opponent standards

He might even get to wear his own gloves

A bit emotional but each to their own.

This isn't the first time Canelo has given an opponent a short camp, it's becoming a trend.

I'm not saying he needs to do it to win, so calm down, but the optics are bad.

If they're locked into the 16th September date, they should have had an earlier deadline for the Plant negotiations as this just looks amateur.

yeah im the most emotional guy here, everyone that cant answer my questions always says so. canelo isnt giving anyone anything, nobody is forced to do anything except you clowns who cant handle their idols dreams, and yours, getting shattered. none of you even know what a frickin camp consists of, but you cry on here like youve been through a bunch of em. thats what irritates me, you guys dont even know wtf your talking about, but are too secure in your own ignorance, to even suspect that you dont know wtf youre talking about. you exist in your own bubbles, reinforcing each others bull****, secure in the knowledge that if you are in fact an idiot, at least you aint the only one.
    emotional enough for ya?

They wouldn't let BJS wear 40oz gloves.

Canelo will have even lesser time to train for Bivol, because he was training for Caleb Plant. Now he has to come with an entirely different gameplan against a bigger and better opponent. On second thought, i think Canelo should decline since he will not have proper time to make adjustments in camp to get ready for Bivol.. canelo is at a big disadvantage here, dont do it Canelo!

If you have a problem with what I have said then tell me this, how many big fights nowadays get made with 6 weeks notice?

Why wasn't fury wilder rescheduled for 6 weeks after fury tested negative then? Why wasn't aj usyk made for 6 weeks time rather than 3 months?

This isn't standard practice at the elite level of the sport.

I think Canelo is at a huge disadvantage, not enough time to truly train for a Beast like Bivol. Terrible move by Canelo!!!!!! No credit to Bivol if he won! NONE!!!
