Yep. Can’t wait. Me bird’s birthday the next day…. Might have to take her and not go with me mates. Luckily enough she’s into it so….

I want that Russian cheat to have to face the music against Smith first though. Can’t see that ever happening though. Smith can do a lot more in the division but for me this seems like half a cash out for Fowler at his tender age. I dunno if he’s realised he’s not all that or what.

 

Surely there’s nobody in Liverpool outside Fowler’s friends and family that doesn’t want Smith to win.

 

Haha I don’t like Fowler and have always liked Liam and even have small connections with him. He used to get dogs abuse on here but I’m glad he gets more respect now. If what you’re saying is true and I think it will be I know I’ll end up feeling sorry for Fowler and half hoping he does well. ****ing big softie. I can see it coming.

It’s going to be a better Dodson Quigley or Smith Dodson. Just hope I can get a ticket and the touts don’t rob them to sell for 5-10x the price to the Matchroom Instagram Eddie bum boys.

 

A second defeat in that division won't kill Fowler's World Title aspirations but I think it's clear where his career is heading now

Superb fight. This is one where DAZN and Eddie can say “game changed”. This would never happen on normal sky.

Got to favour Smith though purely on experience and levels faced previously. This fight alone should easily sell the venue out.

 

Anthony Fowler will win. He's now realising his potential, which is considerable. One of my favourite current boxers.

 

Yup, a close 2nd for me behind 3-0 prospect Campbell Hatton.

 

I wouldn't say that Campbell is one of my favourites as of yet, but he certainly could be. The style, the obvious talent and the charisma all indicate that there's the foundations for a future star. Good luck to him.

Everyone going overboard saying this is fantastic ect game changed ect need to give their heads a wobble. Good fight no doubt but Liam Smith is coming to the end of his career and Fowler is just not very good and very annoying. These type of fights should be happening on every card not one card per year.
Boxing fans are the worst we accept crap all year then get exited by Smith vs Fowler...... the card on paper last night was terrible but the Mccarthy vs CBS and Xu vs Wood turned out to be good, Eddie got lucky imo if both fights were terrible he would have got absolutely rinsed today.
