I think AJ outboxes him. No point in AJ going for the kill in this one. He's got much faster hands and will land that jab and straight right hand all night.

Either 1) - Joshua wins a wide UD
or 2) - Joyce's corner retires after 8/9 rounds because Joyce is just taking too much punishment and not doing anything to AJ.

I think it's his body speed. His body sharpness wasn't there was much in his later years. He was getting caught more than before.

Like he said in the interview before Wlad vs Fury 2, "this time I'm just going to let my hands go". It's all he really had towards the end of his career. He couldn't evade shots as well.

    Then choose.

What's prime Wladimir Klitschko? The one who bored everyone to death against Ibragimov? The one who could hardly land a glove on Haye and bored everyone to death? The one who was brutally stopped by Corrie Sanders, Ross Puritty or Lamon Brewster? The one who beat up hopeless opposition like Mormeck, Leapai, Brock?

It didn't seem to mel ike he could evade shots very well against Sanders, Puritty, Brewster or Petter.

How many 38 year old's are prime?

Personally I think his prime ended when I saw him vs Pianeta, his coordination wasn't the same and balance was off.

Also don't confuse physical prime with a fighters peak. He lost in his physical prime but became a better fighter later on. Even past prime Wlad vs Pulev was better than the version who was beaten by Sanders.

I've asked you when his prime was, and you can't seem to give me an answer.

Of course Klitschko is going to look good against Pianeta. Any version of Klitschko is going to look good against Pianeta.

Perhaps you thought he was in his prime against Pianeta because .... it was Pianeta.

Prime Wlad had sharper body movement. But his skilled was around the same. I know he may not have always been exciting to watch, but he had to do what he had to do to win.

Prime Wlad - Dominated prime Povetkin over 12 rounds, knocked him down 4 times. No one this day in age would dominate Prime Povetkin like that.

Prime Wlad - Obliterated prime Pulev. Knocking him down 4 times, and KOing him In 5.

Prime Wlad - Dominated haye - He was well ahead on the score cards and Haye was using shitty diving tactics and throwing himself to the ground. (118–108, 117–109, 116–110) score cards.

Okay, so you believe he was in his prime between 2011 and 2014. Fine.

The Povetkin bout was an utter disgrace by Klitschko and referee - possibly the most disgraceful performance I have ever seen from a champion. Unbelievably dodgy. The fact you are citing this makes me question your agenda, though. A blind man could see that.

He did obliterate Pulev. A good win, but nothing more. Pulev has never beaten anybody.

The Haye bout was a snoozefest.

The funny thing is, the same Klitschko who faced Fury and Joshua would've also beaten these opponents, but people like to pretend Klitschko is the kind of guy who wasn't the beneficiary of cherry picking over old, short and useless opponents during his "reign". Completely pathetic opposition. Vitali had poor opposition, but at least he was never down in his entire career, and lost about 8 rounds in total on the cards. His brother, however, was battered black and blue by both poor opposition and beaten by good opposition.

It's easy to say "X year was his prime" when he reigned over poor opposition.

You're obviously looking for an argument as I didn't say he was prime vs Pianeta. I said he looked past prime then but you seem to be too determined to look to argue with me to have noticed that.

For some reason you seem to be looking to start arguments with me in recent threads I've noticed. The thread where I said I liked Chisora despite him being unpopular which then resulted in you ranting how terrible Chisora was which only proved my point and when I said Hearn was trying to position Whyte to fight for the WBC title and had been for years which you feigned ignorance on to try and start an argument.

Not sure what I did to rub you up the wrong way, I think you're actually a good poster, I agree with probably most of what you post but clearly you've gotten some bee in your bonnet over something I've said.

As for your question on Wlad's prime I guess for me I guess 2006-2012. Now you may disagree but regardless that's just my opinion.

Wlad vs Pov was ugly, but Wlad would won regardless.

Who cares if the haye fight was a snooze fest? Wlad won comfortable, and Haye could have no complaints since he literally threw himself to the ground so much that the ref scored a knockdown against him for one of his falls XD.

Wlads style was sometimes boring, but it won fights. He was a smart fighter. Even at 41, I still think he'd be #3 now, and could beat anyone.

I've yet to see Joyce be pushed into backward progress, and he's taken everything that's come his way. Joshua was pushed around and clubbed to death by a 6'0 280 lb chubster. I think it's fairly clear that Joyce could take Joshua's power better than Joshua could take his.

AJ wouldn't be able to fight at a suitable pace with Joyce, that's kinda how Joyce operates. It just so happens AJ's biggest weakness, blowing his gas tank while under effective pressure, is perfect for Joyce's biggest strength, sapping your energy with tireless pressure and taking you out when you're tiring out.

Literally this, Joyce had 0 respect for Takam, watching that fight I knew this wasnt going the distance even when Takam was having success. Joyce turned up and fought as if he was sparring a teenager and then decided it was time to call it a day and got it done in 30 seck ds

    Prime Wlad didn't domiate Povetkin.
Wlad's win over Pov is one of the most disgraceful things I've seen in boxing. Wlad should have been disqualified for holding and pushing by round 4 and he continued it for 12 rounds, it was an absolute joke of a fight
