He dropped him 5 times, was probably robbed of a KO in the 11th and won every round of the match. If that's not dominating someone I don't know what is.
It was a bit of a disgrace at times, but I still think he would have won anyways. He landed plenty of good shots on Pov.
The first KD was valid, the rest were literally Wlad pushing and leaning on Povetkin, everytime Povetkin tried going inside Wlad either leaned on him, pushed him down or put him in a headlock. I'm a huge fan of Wlad but that bout was a disgrace. Wlad would beat Povetkin under normal circumstances anyway
Stupid thread. Once again you’re trying to simplify boxing to the lowest common denominator using Top Trumps type logic.
If you think Joshua moved and ran against Ruiz in the rematch he'll be in high gear against Joyce. I think Joe can take ,,,some , of AJ's big punches a lot better than Joshua would take one of Joe's clubbing shots. One of the reasons I think this fight won't happen
Joshua is the better boxer but when the other guy has immovable whiskers and hits as hard that spells trouble.
My point is that it was a counter punch that finished Pulev Jennings couldn`t have finished Pulev with a pull counter, it came very fast. I was wrong it wasn`t a pull counter it was a 1-2.
What evidence is there that Dubois power is equal to AJ's? Serious question, the level of opposition they've knocked out and their chin levels aren't particularly close, so I'm not sure why it would be an equal thing.
Yes he can, he literally did it against Ruiz in the second fight, who is also a pressure fighter. And before you say "Joyce is taller and has a longer reach", Ruiz is 3 times faster than Joyce and a better counter puncher, so that evens it out. The bodybuilder can move, jab Joyce, land a combination every now and than, and counter over Joyce's jab all night and he doesn't need to posses a constant high workrate to take the rounds either because he's going to be staying at range on the backfoot, making Joyce miss and he will be landing at will. He just needs to outland Joyce. And this is worst case scenario where Joyce has absolutely no respect for Aj and walks him down the entire fight. How do you now Joyce wont be cautious ? How do you know he won't attempt and fight Joshua on the backfoot by jabbing and moving like he did against Dubois ? Because Dubois is the closest thing to Aj Joyce has ever fought. You're making Joyce like this nightmare opponent for Aj but the reality is Aj is going to beat Joyce medium difficulty if they fight and it will be hilarious to watch. I can already see it
I believe Joyce would survive 12 rounds with Joshua. I think he'd be pretty roughed up by the end of it though.
