It's all coming together. We are about to get a repeat of what happened in the ametures. I will be cheering for Torrez Jr because not only is he american but he's also a short heavyweight and we need more of those. But unless he's the second coming of Mike Tyson he simply cannot beat the beast that is Jalolov. They're setting him up to loose by making him fight this monster.

    Pray for Richard Torrez Jr

Last time he met Jalolov, it was lights out for him via a straight left, let's see if anything changes this time.

Now he looks much better, he was only 20yo back then.BUT still i see a big chance for the same result...
I guess it will be KO win for him (not a big chance) or KO win for Jalolov. Not going to judges scorecard.

"Ali" Jalolov dances around him like Michael Jackson on speed but "Marciano" Torres finds that one sweet spot and its all over ladies and gentlemen...Or only happens in some other dimension.

    Jalolov via KO

He's for sure getting wrecked. Kunkabayev would have matched up far more favorably with Jalolov (and is actually 2-4 against him, with a couple of those losses via MD)

He makes too many basic mistakes for me to see him going very far in the pro game unless he gets the right trainer, who can slowly and properly develop him, but the biggest issues I see is him being directly in front of his opponent all of the time and his infighting skills are almost nonexistent.

Standing straight up and directly infront of a man with this much of a size advantage is asking for trouble.

What does Wilder have to do with anything? You don't seriously mean to suggest there's a chance of Wilder ever getting in a ring with Jalolov, do you? He'll retire first.

Setting him to lose by someone that can beat him.? You make it sound like it's unfair

Yeah, actually, while catching up on last night's fights I managed to avoid spoilers on all of them except (I believed) this one, having seen this thread title, and thinking Kunkabayev had brutally knocked him out so badly he left on a stretcher and was in a coma or something. Imagine my surprise when Torrez actually wins, and then I circle back and find the OP was just being melodramatic to hype Jalolov.
