Probably Aj by KO but he'd have tremendous difficulty tagging Byrd and might get outboxed before the KO just like he was getting outboxed by 39 year old Povetkin. This upcoming fight with Usyk would be the closest thing to this fantasy fight.

The Usyk fight will give us an idea of how well AJ does against real good slicksters.

Byrd had slow legs and didn't hit like Usyk does. Ergo Usyk is better than Byrd

True but Byrd is slicker. Made Tua look stupid and made Vitali tear his shoulder(LOL)

Chris Byrd would've had a rough ass time against Joshua TBH (I say that as a Byrd fan). Joshua would've UD'd him, no way would Joshua have stopped Byrd though. Prime Byrd, stylistically you could pile points on, but he'd have enough to not get detonated

Joshua would win easily. If he doesn't have him KO'd, he would sleepwalk his way to a UD.

Byrd was fairly crap and a complete eyesore to watch. He could put a glass eye to sleep.

That’s a cold assessment of Byrd. He’s an all-time overachiever. I always imagined what he would’ve done at 175 and 190 in fights with Toney, RJJ, Montell Griffin, Reggie Johnson, and others. Admittedly, some of those fights might’ve been tough to watch.

AJ. KO. Byrds pecking style would not hurt the chin of AJ I don’t think. AJ would catch up to him like round 9 or 10
