Wouldn't be surprised if Webb upset Warley this weekend.

Still never stopped, finally went down against Szpilka, but anyone will get dropped if they fight on for long enough.

I pick Shaw (no surprise) - it's definitely a "stay busy" sort of fight. Simms has a physique somewhere between "Pillsbury Doughboy" and "Michelin Man" - but he's a pretty smart fighter with surprisingly quick feet for a guy whose center of gravity appears to be located six inches beneath the canvas. Not the sort of guy you pick to earn a quick KO or look good against, generally.

I wouldn't read too much into Wardley's victory over Molina - but Webb has been stopped a couple times. Tough to call this one, but I will pick Wardley with a late-ish stop of Webb.

Hawkins should not trouble Bernath the least little bit.

8-0 US prospect Brandon Moore (who I believe competed at the 2019 US Olympic boxing trials for the 91+ kg spot) will be fighting tomorrow (Friday) night for the highly-coveted "WBC United States (USNBC) Silver heavyweight" title. If that made-up title wasn't already sufficiently ridiculous, rest-assured that the WBC has heaped on an extra helping of the preposterous - because this United States title fight is actually being held at the Verite Social Venue...in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico!

And if that weren't enough - they haven't even named an opponent for Brandon Moore yet! Which, of course, suggests that the eventual opponent (should there actually be one) - will be pretty poor.

So it's as much of a waste of time for Mr. Moore (who earned a one-sided decision over the reasonably-dangerous Tyrell Jamal Woods in his last fight) as the rest of us, I guess.

I wouldn't either, Molina had him on the ropes(literally) but got too reckless and paid for it. Webb went bust, but has regrouped nicely since those loses. Honestly, Warley probably isn't better than Allen or Sokolowski, so anything could happen here. Whoever lands first with a meaningful punch will probably take it, that's the level of these two.

Would like to see it as I don't think Wardley is any good at all, but I think Webb will give up early in the fight.

Well Brandon Moore did win his fight last night to go to 9-0. If the footage on his Twitter feed is any indication....
    • He won by KO
    • His opponent was not capable
Jesus Angel Nerio (who most recently secured a strange MD victory over Nick Asberry) had been named as Moore's opponent very recently and the short, puffy build of his opponent suggests that that was the man he actually did fight.

The heavyweight division is becoming increasingly interesting with fighters like Jalolov.

Yeah... until he faces a real contender, the top dogs will probably retire. The division is just being pathetic
