Caleb Plant vs Jermell Charlo at 168

If Plant comes conditioned he might outbox Charlo however he has to be careful of the sporadic explosive shots from Charlo in which he windmills a huge overhand right in the hopes of getting lucky and Plant seems like the perfect candidate to get caught by such shots.

Watching Charlo makes me feel like he's a bit unrefined in some aspects but has good fundamentals too.

 

I think Charlo wins a controversial decision.

It's not high on my list of fights I want to see, but it will help the winner get some good experience to prepare for Canelo.

I think it might be close because of Plants boxing ability and Charlo's trouble with boxers, also Uncle Al has both their backs. So it would probably be a draw.

Plant should be able to beat Charlo by 8-4 type decision.

Iirc the Tony Harrison fights, they weren't frequent at all but he would kind of explode without a set up and throw some hail Mary right hands.
He wouldn't go windmilling like Wilder of course but you get my point.

 

Good fight. I hope it happens and hope the judges get it right if it goes to the cards, regardless of who wins. I like Plant but Charlo has power and could surprise people.

 

Due to the fact Harrison and Plant have very diffetent styles, I don't see Charlo doing that. Don't know if Charlo can pull this off.
