Arguably lost his last two. Got massive gifts on the cards. I mean 119-108...come on. ****ing disgraceful. If you struggle with guys like Baluda or Doheny you shouldn't even think about fighting the elite guys. Personally i think Conlan will get smashed to bits on world level.
Agree 100%. He loses to Pitufo Diaz, Emanuel Navarrete, Leigh Wood, Gary Russell Jr, Mauricio Lara, Josh Warrington, Isaac Dogboe, Adam Lopez, Eduardo Ramirez, Satoshi Shimizu, Can Xu and Ruben Villa. And probably 10 or so other Featherweights I'm forgetting.
I think hes very average dont see anything special about him. Forget about the elite fighters who would all destroy him put him in there against one of those tough unheralded mexican fighters with a deceiving record that has done his road work and see Conlan get the **** beat out of him.
The one card was horrid and the fight closer than 116-111. Hard to say Conlan sucks as he does well enough. But no, he isn't going to be beating the big boys.
paddy donovan is the new face of irish boxing, feed conlan to adam lopez or pitfu diaz. Those two need a win and it will be action packed.
He looked good in the early days but kinda stared to suck when Adam Booth trained him in a style thats only effective if you have power delivery. Conlon has none. His career will probably be short because of how much effort it takes him to put a dent into guys. His brother had the same problem. He should probably soak his hands in petrol or something
hes was at the rock for awhile. I was hoping to see him spar manny robles or valdez. He left quick though
He seems to get the hype because he fights in New York on St Patrick's day, enters the ring to The Wolf Tones & seems to be pro IRA. Oh, and his reaction when he lost during the Olympics.
