Canelo handicapping Bivol at catchweight

Then they get waht they deserve, critisise BJS but he stopped most of canelos nonsense with short training camps etc....still lost but canelo & his team are tearing up the rule books when it suits them ..

No fighter should win a title if not fought at the correct weight. Boxing is a joke sometimes. Anyone who has fought or wrestled here knows going down a weight especially at the middleweight and up is a BIG deal. Most fighters are probably already struggling to make weight at their normal division.

I don't mind watching two fighters fight that would not otherwise though. It would be good money for Bivol and there's no harm in that (if not a title fight).

 

Wholeheartedly agree but why was canelo allowed to steal Cotto's belt in another special canelo Catchweight.... pathetic rule twisting every step of the way ....it could make one think that canelo was not up to the job what with being a PROVEN Drug cheat and ALL....

 

Don't get me started on the greedy sanctioning bodies and promoters who pay them. They've fleeced this once great sport.
