10-9 La Cruz, sweet check left hook with half a minute left sealed it on the back of all that beautiful defense.

Masterpiece by Julio César La Cruz, and the Russian was I think number one seed? (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

Oopsies, he did probably get away with a no-call there, Gadzhimagomedov arguably robbed of a flash KD in the final moments of R2...but ref didn't call it so 10-9 and 20-18 JCLC.

Lots of clumsy desperate lunging from Gadzhimagomedov, coming unglued, warned for headbutts. La Cruz just so frustrating to fight.

When I rewatched the fight I noticed he was catching some of Marcial's shots on his gloves that looked like they landed during my first viewing. If he does turn over hopefully we'll get to see him show more of his technical side and I wonder what weight he'll do so at. Probably 160 I should imagine.

This Cuban Cruz is gonna torch Davis, just saw him for the first time and I think it's gonna be a difference of levels unfortunately.

They have fought three times already, and while Cruz won all of them, none resembled torching.

since their last fight in 2019, Davis got noticeably bigger and ... grew out his hair. So the final should be interesting and I doubt one-sided.

Oh, I didn't realized he was short haired last time.

    I stand corrected!

The fight was a clear 3-0 fight for davis. He still won the round where they took a point for no reason. Easy fight to score.

    thats why hes -357
Its closer then that though. Just like the russian kid vs ragan was around -300. All three rounds were close.
I think cruz is faster of foot and hand, more power, and better defense. Like i said, davis gonna have to pull a david reid in round 3, down 10.

Cruz has some pop, but Davis produced two chicken dances in the event so far. Davis has power.

I see it that way too. They fought in 2019 and Cruz won that.
